Zenless Zone Zero Jane Doe Reveal & Overview
Welcome to our Zenless Zone Zero Jane Doe guide. We’ll cover everything you need to know about her skills, builds, teams, and more.
Hoyoverse has revealed more information for the upcoming version, teasing a new character: Jane Doe. While the release didn’t specify her faction, the Pre-Release Special Program shows her character along with the CISRT Faction.
Other than that, we have no official details on her Rarity, Attribute, or Specialty.

With Jane Doe, we now know that 3 different CISRT Agents are coming in Version 1.1. With every Version having two banners, we can infer that 2 Agents will be S-Rank, with one being A-Rank.
Qingyi will likely be Stun, Seth will likely be Defense, and Zhu Yuan is Attack. This leaves Support and Anomaly as potential Specialties for Jane Doe. While it’s possible she may have the same Specialty as other CISRT members, it’s unlikely.
As for Attribute, we don’t have a great way to guess what it will be.
ZZZ Jane Doe Release Date
Jane Doe will be releasing in Version 1.1, which starts on August 15th. We don’t know if she will part of the first half or second half banner.
She will be featured on a Limited banner, and her availability will depend on her rarity. If he’s S-Rank, she will only be obtainable on the Limited Banner. On the other hand, if she’s A-Rank, she will join the Standard Pool after the featured banner.

ZZZ Jane Doe Build Guide Overview
Unfortunately, since we don’t know much about Jane’s kit, Attribute, or Specialty, we can’t make any recommendations yet. When it comes to Seth and Qingyi, we are able to make some predictions, but it’s tougher for Jane Doe.

Jane Doe Best W-Engines
Without a doubt, Jane Doe’s best W-Engine will be her signature weapon. This will feature on the W-Engine Banner during her release. Unfortunately, we don’t know the details yet, and we can’t recommend alternatives without knowing her details.
Jane Doe Drive Disc
When it comes to Drive Discs, there are mainly two options. If we assume that Jane Doe is either Anomaly or Support, her best set will likely either be Swing Jazz (4) or Freedom Blues (4).
As a Support, Swing Jazz (4) will be a great set for team buffing. Freedom Blues will be ideal if she is Anomaly. There may be alternatives to these sets, but they are both good starting points for either situation.
Jane Doe Drive Disc Stats
When it comes to stats, it’s the same situation. Here’s a breakdown of potential stats depending on her Specialty. For stats, these are just general recommendations.
It’s possible that Jane’s kit scales better with a certain stat. In this case, her best build will definitely change.
Main Stats
- (4) ATK% (Support) / Anomaly Proficiency (Anomaly)
- (5) Attribute DMG% (Depending on her Attribute)
- (6) Energy Regen (Support) / Anomaly Mastery (Anomaly)
Substats
When it comes to substats, it’s fairly straightforward for either Support or Anomaly. If she’s Anomaly, you want Proficiency. After that, you can just build damage stats like ATK%/PEN/Crit.
Neither Support nor Anomaly care too much about PEN/Crit, but they’re nice bonuses. ATK% is still nice because it scales well at low investment compared to PEN and Crit.
Jane Doe Skill Priority
Almost every Agent looks to level up their Core Skill first. This increases their base stats and upgrades their Core Passive. Once we learn more about Jane’s kit, we can give a proper Skill Priority recommendation.
Zenless Zone Zero Jane Teams
Once again, this section of our guide is pure speculation. When it comes to teams, we’re not quite sure how Jane Doe fits into CISRT.
It’s quite likely that Qingyi is Electric/Stun and Seth is Defense. Because of this, Qingyi pairs quite well with Zhu Yuan and Nicole/Rina for a strong team.
This leaves us with Seth and Jane Doe. Being a Defense Agent, Seth has a lot of possibilities. He can buff Crit like Ben, PEN like Rina, ATK like Lucy, DEF shred like Nicole, or buff Anomaly.
All of these are possibilities, and there’s no real indication as to what will happen. It’s likely that Seth can pair well with Jane since Qingyi favors Zhu Yuan.
Even still, it’s possible that Jane Doe might not synergize well with either Qingyi or Seth. We’ll just have to wait and see.
Jane Doe (Support Prediction)
Let’s first assume that Jane is a Support Agent. In this situation, her possible teams largely depend on her Attribute.
The only Attributes that are unlikely are Electric and Ice. Rina is already an S-Rank Electric Support, and powercreeping her so soon is unlikely. Soukaku was a recently featured A-Rank Ice/Support, so replacing her seems unlikely as well.
It’s possible that Jane powercreeps Nicole/Lucy as a Ether/Fire Support, but it’s hard to say.
- She could be a Physical Support, making her pair well with Nekomata (Physical) or Zhu Yuan (CISRT).
- If she’s Ether, Zhu Yuan is the clear synergy.
- Lastly, if she’s Fire, then Soldier 11 would be a good teammate.
There’s too many options to consider, but these are all possibilities.
Jane Doe (Anomaly Prediction)
For this next section, let’s assume that Jane Doe will be Anomaly. There are currently only two Anomaly characters in the game, Grace and Piper (Electric/Physical respectively).
Regardless of what Attribute Jane is, she likely will pair well with Grace or Piper if she’s Anomaly. The one caveat is that if she’s the same element, it will be a bit overkill.
For example, if Jane is also Electric/Anomaly, pairing her with Grace might not be ideal. They will both excel at applying Shock, but you can only do so with one Agent at a time. This makes the pair redundant.
However, this problem is solved if Jane has a kit that empowers Shock further, which is definitely possible. Even still, I find it more beneficial to have two Anomaly Agents with different Attributes. This lets you trigger Disorder, which can help make up for omitting a Stun Agent.
You can follow this same logic for Piper if Jane is Physical. If her kit empowers Assault, they will be good together. If not, she becomes a better version of Piper.
Lastly, if Jane is Fire/Ether/Ice Anomaly, then both Grace and/or Piper will be good teammates for a Disorder team.
