Produced by Swift’s in-house tour production company, the 165-minute documentary of Swift’s tour features music from each 10 of her albums. The first U.S. leg, grossing $780 million, finished up this summer, but dates are scheduled internationally right up until November 2024.
Swift only announced the film’s release on August 31st, meaning she shattered records with only six weeks’ notice to her loyal fans. But even before the concert movie hit cinemas on October 13th, the distributor of the film, AMC, had secured over $100 million in advanced ticket sales worldwide.
Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour will run for 13-weekends in theaters across the US and Canada. This Week: TV is Back!… Almost

The nearly record-breaking strike of Hollywood screenwriters is wrapping up – and that means some of your favorite shows are on their way back!
After a 148-day strike, just days shy of the longest strike in the Writer Guild’s history, the tentative agreement between screenwriters and Hollywood studios is finally offering a glimmer of hope for our well-missed shows. Both WGA West Board and WGA East Council joined hands to lift restrictions for writers on Tuesday.
The strike ended at 12:01 am PT Wednesday after the screenwriters’ union board cast its final vote, and 11,500 union members are already authorized to return to their respective studios.
Although the agreement is a huge leap in the, ahem, write direction, the ink hasn’t set just yet.
The final, crucial step of validation will take place between October 2nd and 9th, and we’re eager to finally close this chapter and see our favorite shows make a roaring comeback!
Once the deal gets the green light, late-night talk shows like The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and The Late Show With Stephen Colbert could be back on our screens within a matter of days. Even Saturday Night Live’s writers could be penning sketches for a 49th season soon.
Others, like The Drew Barrymore Show are expected to follow in October; although, with the actors still limited by their own strike, guest appearances will be drastically down.
Fans of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars will already be doing a happy dance, with the program returning for its 32nd season on September 26th.
Scripted shows like Stranger Things, Severance, and Abbott Elementary are also set to fire up their writers’ rooms again. However, 65,000 actors are still on strike, so more delays are likely.
