Yggdrasil is slated to launch its latest Game Engagement Mechanic (GEM) that elevates the playing experience, debuting in its upcoming slot release, Aphrodite Goes Wild RushingWilds.
A centrepiece of the studio’s product portfolio, GEMs have been accelerating the entertainment experience for several years, and RushingWilds is the latest addition to its ranks.
The new GEM joins other popular entries in the series such as DoubleMax, GigaBlox and MulitMax, all of which have raised the game on numerous titles, ensuring that Yggdrasil’s content maintains its position at the fore of slot provision.
The RushingWilds GEM comes into play during a session of consecutive free spins or respins. If a wild lands on the reels, it automatically becomes sticky.
The experience progresses when another wild lands, seeing all previously sticky wilds getting an upgrade of +Multiplier to all wins that go through them. These multipliers are counted separately for each wild. They only stop being sticky at the end of the consecutive spin session.
The multiplier upgrade per new wild on the reels is by default +1x but can be customised for operator flexibility.
The max cap of multiplier values is not mandatory, but it can occur at times such as when the multiplier cannot exceed x5.
RushingWilds bolsters the supplier’s wide range of GEMs continuing to prove popular among operators for the added value they drive as they attract an ever-widening global fanbase.
Marcin Tomala, Senior Game Designer at Yggdrasil, said:
As a studio, we’re now synonymous with our GEMs and the way in which they elevate the playing experience. Ours is a hyper-competitive industry and it is through innovations such as RushingWilds that we can remain relevant and keep our games at the vanguard of slot development. We’re confident this new GEM will add quality and diversity in gameplay as previously released iterations have proven.
