At the conclusion of Day 1C, India’s Pradeep Nudurumati was poised at the top of the flight’s leaderboard with a massive 800,000 in chips. Nudurumati was already backed by a big stack during the last two hours of regulation then surged just before bagging time. Nudurumati pulled off a timely bluff on a board 10d10c4c8s10s with over 40 bigs already in the pot. He bet just under half pot and wasn’t called then showed AsJs. Coming Day 2, Nudurumati will bring in the second largest stack.

Australian players made their presence felt in this heat with Amir Abbas, Travis Endersby, Michael Haddad, and hot running Joseph Sandaev all advancing and with healthy stacks. Sandaev is hoping this will be the event where he breaks past the runner-up spot having finished in that position three times at the high roller events.
