Worcester Place 6 preview | 27th July

14.20 – Get Pulling With PJ Nicholls SsangYong Handicap Chase – 2m4f

JUDGE EARLE won five times in this sphere last year and absolutely bolted up by 28 lengths at his beloved Uttoxeter last week. He is under a penalty now but that shouldn’t prevent the 11-year-old from going in again with his stable continuing in flying form at present.

Tips: JUDGE EARLE

14.50 – Persimmon Homes South Midlands Handicap Chase – 2m7f

BAGHEERA GINGE chased home Courtland when last spotted, who has won again since and recently went close in the Summer Plate. He is up in distance but remains on the same mark as that latest second and should go well. CAPTAIN TOMMY is more than capable of this mark and must be respected as well.

Tips: BAGHEERA GINGE, CAPTAIN TOMMY

15.25 – Charles Church South Midlands Handicap Hurdle – 2m

ALIOSKI has course-and-distance winning form and should be fit from a couple of spins on Flat in recent months. A repeat of his third at Sandown should see him heavily competitive, as that is amongst the best form in the race and he gets weight from all rivals as well. Nice chance.

Tips: ALIOSKI

16.00 – Deva Racing’s Captain Tom Cat Memorial Maiden Hurdle – 2m

SHENGAI ENKI was expected to do a lot better on his hurdles debut when sent off favourite but could only finish fourth. He can take a step forward here though, while SIX AND OUT, who has finished second in all three bumper starts, could well advance his form over timber.

Tips: SHENGAI ENKI, SIX AND OUT

16.32 – FBC Manby Bowdler Handicap Hurdle – 2m4f

NADIM has been in superb form this month, winning twice in succession and has every chance of completing the hat-trick. PAINLESS POTTER wasn’t at his best at Stratford last-time-out but this race is easier and he should be extremely competitive with Gavin Sheehan retained to ride.

Tips: NADIM, PAINLESS POTTER

17.07 – Caerleon AFC Amateur Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle – 2m7f

SYLVIES DANCE needs to put aside a lesser effort at Southwell but the form of her defeat of Basford has worked out well given the second has won since. With more to come after just four starts, she should make a bold bid off top-weight. CHAMP ROYAL is nicely treated on the pick of his Irish form and could pose a threat.

Tips: SYLVIES DANCE, CHAMP ROYAL
