Wimbledon Accumulator Tips: Sun may struggle to shine against resurgent Raducanu
The last two performances from Emma Raducanu suggest Britain may not have long to wait before it celebrates another Grand Slam triumph and the Wimbledon wild-card entry should have too much for qualifier Lulu Sun on Sunday.
Men’s defending champion Carlos Alcaraz and women’s second seed Coco Gauff are also in action, but Raducanu is looking like a rock again and those still standing in the women’s singles at the All England Club should be well aware that going all the way on the London grass has just become a much tougher task than it may have looked a couple of rounds ago.

Under 20.5 total games in L Sun v E Raducanu @ 4/6
Lulu Sun has already upset Australian Open runner-up Qinwen Zheng in the first round of Wimbledon, but the qualifier is likely to have a lot more on her plate against the resurgent Emma Raducanu.
British ace Raducanu won the US Open in 2021 but has failed to hit those heights since. However, judging by the way she dismissed Elise Mertens in round two and ninth seed Maria Sakkari in the last 32, further Grand Slam glory may not be far away.
Raducanu may relax more against a lesser light like Sun, but either way the outsider will do well to win nine games against the red-hot favourite, so backing no more than 20 games to be contested looks the way to go.
Set betting: C Gauff to win 2-0 v E Navarro @ 8/11
Emma Navarro is standing up well to most of her opponents on the WTA Tour, but Coco Gauff could be tough to keep tabs on in this all-American rumble.
US Open champion Gauff is getting more comfortable on grass with experience and the fact that she has dropped no more than four games in any of her three singles matches at the All England Club this year could be ominous for Navarro’s hopes of making this clash competitive.
Gauff looks a decent price to triumph in straight sets, which the stats suggest is likelier to happen than not, and that looks the way punters should go.
M Keys -2.5 games handicap v J Paolini @ 8/13
Jasmine Paolini is becoming a class act on any terrain but the feisty Italian, who recently finished runner-up to Iga Swiatek in the French Open, may have to give better to Madison Keys in their chase for a quarter-final berth.
It could be close but while Keys has yet to ditch her maiden tag at Grand Slam singles level, she remains talented and powerful enough to achieve that.
The demands of grass-court tennis suit Keys’ strengths and this is a battle she should be up to winning.
C Alcaraz -1.5 sets handicap v U Humbert @ 1/3
In the realm of acca betting, it may be prudent to include one shorter-priced option and that could be Carlos Alcaraz to beat Ugo Humbert either 3-0 or 3-1 in their fourth-round encounter.
The market was still settling down for this clash later yesterday afternoon – Humbert only finished his last-32 match against Brandon Nakashima – but rather than risk Alcaraz winning in straight sets against Humbert, who is no pushover on grass, it could pay to have a bit more insurance.
Alcaraz needed five sets to down Frances Tiafoe in round three, but this ought to be slightly plainer sailing for the defending champion.
