Wimbledon Accumulator Tips: Norrie to shine on home soil

Wimbledon Accumulator Tips: Norrie to shine on home soil

Hopefully, the rain is now behind us for the rest of Wimbledon, and after a hectic few days, we are back to normal on Friday with some of the big hitters out in both the men’s and women’s draw.

Men’s favourite Novak Djokovic will take on veteran Stan Wawrinka, but the Serbian is expected to cruise to victory on Friday.

British ace Cameron Norrie is back in action against Christopher Eubanks while defending women’s champion Elena Rybakina will hope to get back to her best after a nerve-wracking performance in the first round.

Paula Badosa to beat Marta Kostyuk @ 8/13

World number 35 Paula Badosa returns to the court on Friday as she prepares to face Marta Kostyuk.

Kostyuk made a statement when overcoming eighth seed Maria Sakkari in the first round, but Padosa also caught the eye as she beat Alison Riske-Amritraj 6-3 6-3.

Badosa has won all three previous meetings between the pair and, in 2021 and 2022, she reached the fourth round.

The former world number two should have too much quality for Kostyuk, and we expect her to reach the third round with relative ease.

Natalija Stevanovic to beat Tamara Korpatsch @ 8/11

Stevanovic’s straight-sets win in the first round over former world number one Karolina Pliskova will have given her a huge confidence boost, even if the Czech ace is struggling with her game.

Korpatsch was handed a place in the main draw as a lucky loser, and although she beat Carol Zhao in round one, she should struggle to unsettle Stevanovic.

Wimbledon Betting Odds

Cameron Norrie to beat Christopher Eubanks 3-1 @ 5/2

Cameron Norrie proved too much for qualifier Tomas Machac earlier this week in the first round, but he was forced to go to four sets. We expect a similar outcome when he takes on American Christopher Eubanks.

Eubanks has won his last six matches, and his serve is something that Norrie should struggle with.

Eubanks fired home 28 aces in his first-round win over Thiago Monteiro, and he should be able to pinch a set off Norrie before succumbing to a defeat.
