Fillies captured both stakes this weekend. Living Magic took the My Dear Stakes on Saturday in the pouring rain, and Pipit came out on top against the boys in the Victoria Stakes on Sunday.
Hat-trick for Drexler
Trainer Marty Drexler won three of six starts on Saturday with My Sunny Valentine, Cotton, and Colonel Mustard.
Century mark
Bruno Schickedanz reached 100 wins in 2023 with three wins on Saturday’s card. Schickedanz is the first owner in North America to hit this milestone this year.
Civaci on fire
Jockey Sahin Civaci scored four wins on Sunday’s card with Palazzi, Ready for the Lady, Sign of Beauty, and Star Sign.

One More Brew has won back-to-back starts at Woodbine with Sofia Vives, first on June 18, and second on July 16. Bermuda Blue Farm and Wolf and Paul Herbert claimed the 3-year-old dark bay from previous owner Stacey Van Camp.

In an exciting photo finish, Pontiac and Emma-Jayne Wilson took home a win in Sunday’s fifth race at 13-1. Buck’s Fizz was second. This was the first career win and second start for Pontiac.
