Not too long ago, I tried the Original We-Vibe Moxie panty vibrator, and it quickly became my favorite. While other wearable vibrators sometimes fail to deliver the necessary vibration strength for climaxing, the Moxie succeeded. Recently, the company released Moxie Plus, a modernized version with key upgrades like a more high-tech remote and efficient storage bag. Are the upgrades worth paying for if you’ve already purchased the original? Is this the best panty vibe ever; does it get 5 stars? Find out in my We-Vibe Moxie+ review!

I was impressed with We-Vibe Moxie+. I loved the upgraded look of the remote, the smaller storage bag, and how well the toy stayed in place. If you want a long-lasting wearable vibe, this is an excellent purchase. However, if you have the original, the newer version may not be worth the expense unless you want a better remote.
Who Should Try It? If you love your at-home vibrator but want to add a little more thrill to your life, this panty vibe might be just the thing. It will work well for long-distance couples, as you can give your partner control through the app, no matter where they are. Plus, you can use it for penetrative sex by sliding your underwear over, or add in a different toy, like a dildo, for a multi-sensory experience. Even if you don’t wear panties or aren’t sure that you love wearable vibrators, you might get a lot of use from this toy. It works well with nearly any kind of underwear, even lingerie, as long as there is a spot to connect the magnet.
Who Can Skip It? If you don’t like clitoral vibration, this will not meet your needs. Further, if you need dual stimulation to get off, you could use another toy with this, but you will likely be able to find one toy that can do both for cheaper, like the Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2. Or, if you only plan to use the toy as a bullet vibe, you might want to stick with a classic, like the We-Vibe Tango X. Next, if you need the ultra-powerful rumbly vibes from a Magic Wand to climax, this won’t do the trick. The vibrations are powerful, but they’re not wand powerful.

What Is the We-Vibe Moxie+?
The We-Vibe Moxie+ is a panty vibrator meant for playing in public, lingerie play, or anything else you can dream up that involves masturbating on the go. The vibrator sits in your underwear, with a magnet placed outside of your underwear to keep it held snugly in place. The remote control in situations like this is key because reaching into your underwear to push a button several times to get to your favorite setting (or, more urgently, to turn the toy off) is the opposite of discreet. That’s why this panty vibe has an upgraded remote—so you can control it easily, or give it to your partner and let them be in charge
If you’re unfamiliar with panty vibrators, here’s an in-depth guide about them.
First Impressions and Features
Unboxing
We-Vibe has consistently solid unboxing experiences. The box is pretty, well-made, and sturdy enough to keep the toy in if you like. Plus, it comes with everything you need, including the toy, a storage bag, the remote control, a quick-start user guide, magnetic clips (which includes a replacement for the magnetic clip in case you lose one because the good folks at We-Vibe know me so well!), and a USB charging cable that you can plug into a USB port when you’re ready to charge. It even has a sample packet of lube! Well, the table of contents online says it comes with a packet of lube. Unfortunately, mine didn’t have any lube as you can see from the unboxing video and the image below, which was probably just a minor oversight. It was fortunate it happened to me and not someone else because I have tons of lube!
I’m extra impressed that this toy typically comes with lube. Some people might assume that you don’t need lube with a panty vibe, but that’s not necessarily the case. If your vulva tends to be on the dry side in general, adding a bit of lube can make having a toy in your panties more comfortable, even though it will be used externally.

How To Use We-Vibe Moxie+?
Using the We-Vibe Moxie+ is easy. After you open the package, wash and charge the toy. Then, choose a tight-fitting pair of underwear and place the We-Vibe Moxie+ in your underwear, with the three waves facing your vulva. The oval magnet goes on the outside of your underwear, aligned with the oval shape on the toy. When it stays in place, you know you have the magnet situated correctly.
After you have the vibe in your underwear the way you like, you can do a couple of things. You could go on a date with your partner, hand over the remote control, and let them decide when you climax. You could slide your panties to the side for vaginal or anal penetration. Or you could use it all by yourself and add in a dildo or another sex toy of your choosing.
Further, you’ll want to decide if you want to use the toy with the app or remote. If you plan on using the remote, it’s automatically paired with the toy as long as you aren’t connected to the We-Connect app. Pressing a button on the remote control will operate the toy if it is on.
Some expert-level wearable vibrator tips:
- What type of panties you wear matters. You can improve your experience by paying attention to details like this before you play. Wear supportive, tight-fitting panties for the best experience with this external panty vibe. Further, don’t wear any particularly thick underwear, as this can cause the magnetic clip to not stick as well and potentially fall off.
- Practice using your legs to get different sensations at home before using them for playing in public. If you are someone who tends to dig the vibrator in to get the most from the sensation before orgasm, try squeezing your thighs together to replicate this without having to touch the toy in public. With a little practice placing the vibrator in the exact right spot in your underwear and wiggling your legs and pelvis into the right place, you can make climaxing easier, no matter where you wear the vibe. Plus, it’s good practice psychologically.
- Getting into a rut with masturbation and needing the same precise stimulation every time creates the illusion that you can’t get off any other way. When you aren’t able to angle the vibrator like you always do, it helps your brain realize that you can orgasm in many different ways. The more you try new things and find they work for you, the better because you’ll know that your body can always learn new ways to reach orgasm and you don’t need one specific thing, whether that’s a type of porn, an exact type of stimulation, or anything else that your mind dreams up.

My Personal Experience
One of my favorite things about this wearable panty vibrator is that it can easily double as a regular bullet vibe. If you’re worried about the expense but love bullet vibes, you can buy this to try your hand at public masturbation and if it doesn’t work out, you still end up with a high-quality bullet vibe that will last, much like the We-Vibe Tango X.
I do have to say that I didn’t notice a huge difference between the original and the upgrade. Both toys have the same body-safe silicone, a backup magnetic clip, app control, and a 2-year warranty. Since I already had the original We-Vibe Moxie (it’s on the left in the image below, Moxie+ is on the right), I probably wouldn’t have spent over $100 to get the updated remote and storage bag. But that may be different for someone who uses a panty vibrator more often than any other sex toy.
The truth is that I’m more a fan of the steady speeds than the vibration patterns, so when choosing between the remote or app, I often reach for the remote. It’s simpler, and I don’t always have a ton of creativity when it comes to creating new vibration patterns more often than I’d like to admit. Here are the more remote-controlled vibrators we ranked and tested if you want to see more options.
Note: This toy is so new that even the manual hasn’t been updated to reflect the new name or remote. So if you look online at the manual, expect to see the old branding, name, and remote.
Packaging
I love We-Vibe’s packaging. Though I was a little sad mine was missing lube, it still contained everything else I needed, neatly organized like an adorable little gift. As you can see in the image below, the box was pretty, and I love the new bag. The extra magnetic clip is a nice touch, too. Everything looked like it had been handled with care and it was perfectly giftable, too. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a friend or partner something from this body-safe brand, based on the packaging alone.
Design
We-Vibe has come up with my favorite design for panty vibes. I’ve tried several styles, including the Satisfyer Sexy Secret, and this one stays in place the best. I rate the design 5 stars, no question.
The shape of this design is excellent. It has a soft ridge that angles up, making it easier for the vibrations to reach your clit once in place. This shape is perfect for people like me, who prefer pinpoint stimulations and focused vibes, but it won’t do as much for those who need broader stimulation to get off. However, it might be a nice way to get warmed up before sex, even if pinpoint stimulation won’t get you all the way there.
One thing I’m not crazy about design-wise is the button placement. It’s hard to use once it’s in your panties, and if you sit in a hard chair, you can knock the power button and turn it off. (I demonstrate this in the image above)
Material
The We-Vibe Moxie+ is made from body-safe silicone. It’s soft, elegant, and my sex toy’s favorite material overall!
Stimulations
For the size, I found Moxie+’s vibrations to be quite powerful. Though they aren’t as rumbly as a wand, they were more than I needed to reach climax.
Sound Level
The ability to be quiet and powerful at the same time is one of the most necessary features an external panty vibe can have. If it’s too loud, you can’t use it in public. If it’s not strong enough, it will only serve to frustrate you and it won’t get used. I was interested to find out if the sound level changed between the original Moxie and the Moxie+. When I tested it, it ranged between 36-48 decibels. It’s not whisper quiet even though it has a quiet motor, so make sure you go somewhere with a moderate level of baseline noise.
Build Quality and Dimensions
The Moxie+’s build quality has the long-lasting look and feel that I’ve come to expect from We-Vibe products. It has a pretty shape without unnecessary seams. However, there’s a seam between the toy and where you place the magnetic, and small seams around the magnetic charging pins as well.
The magnetic clip stays in place better than expected, too (you can see me demonstrate how to attach it in the image above). Once the magnetic clip clicks into place, it essentially doesn’t move, and you don’t have to worry about it. To give the magnetic clip a bit better chance at sticking in place, be sure to wear supportive, tight underwear made of a thinner material.
Ease Of Use
Moxie is fairly easy to use, especially if you stick to the button interface. Moxie Plus only has one button (circled in the below image), which will turn the toy on and off and cycle through the settings. It’s easy to clean and easy to store, and wearing it in public is as simple as it gets.
Keep in mind that the power button will face your panties, not your vulva if you’re using the magnet to affix it to your underwear. You won’t be able to easily push the buttons and go through the settings, so you’ll have to use the app or the remote control. But you can use the toy manually if you choose. The power button will turn the toy on, take you through the different clitoral stimulation patterns, and then turn it off if you hold it down for two seconds.
However, if you use the app, it’s slightly trickier, though I still found the process incredibly intuitive.
We have a guide on how vibrating panties work that can help you have a better grasp when using the Moxie+.
Phone App
The app, sometimes called the We-Connect app (screenshots below) though it’s recently been rebranded as the We-Vibe app, gives you incredible control over the vibration patterns and the user experience you have with your wearable vibrator. Plus, using the We-Connect app with the Moxie+ adds a ton of versatility, giving you the option to create patterns and control the vibration strength using your own phone. I have several toys that are compatible with the app, so I’ve used it many times.
People have complained about the We-Connect app connectivity, but I’ve never personally had any problem with it. Though I thoroughly enjoy the app, keep in mind that some people have had difficulty and will lose connection at frustrating moments.

Some of my favorite features within the We-Connect app control are the ones that allow you to create original musical rhythms. You’ll never get bored or run out of new stimulations to try with this app—every single masturbation session can be different if you’re so inclined. You can use the We-Connect app on your phone, or you can give your partner control and they can control it, whether they are in the same room or somewhere across the globe. Moxie+ connects with your playlist too, if you want to add music for another sensory element.
Versatility
This toy gets an A++ for being versatile. Let’s talk about just how many ways there are to use this little firecracker. First, you can use it in public. That’s the most classic use of a panty vibe. But if panties aren’t your vibe, you can use the Moxie+ as a bullet vibrator. It’s the perfect size for travel and it’s waterproof, so it’s an ideal companion for your splashiest vacations. Next, you can use it for masturbation. It’s excellent for no-hands play by yourself. Pair it with the app, and you have endless pattern combinations at your fingertips. Or, pair it with a dildo for double the fun.
Lastly, you can use it with a partner. Hand them the remote control during penetration or anal play and let them determine how intense the vibrations become. Or, grant them access to your toy while they’re out of town and have virtual fun together. In the end, if you like clitoral vibration, there’s almost nothing you can’t do with this vibe. This is an excellent toy for people who crave variety. I give this toy 5 stars for its versatility alone.
Warranty and Support
We-Vibe offers a 2-year warranty from the original date of purchase on the Moxie+. That means you have plenty of time to try it and discover if there are issues with the workmanship or materials. If so, they will replace it with the same or similar product. Like most warranties, this one doesn’t cover normal wear and tear.
However, they also offer a 100-day money-back guarantee. This guarantee means that if you try a toy and don’t like it, they will refund your money. This is unheard of with sex toys since they can’t be repackaged and resold. We-Vibe cares about their customer’s experience and helping people find sex toys that will truly enhance their sex lives.
Minor Issues I Found During Testing
The biggest downside to purchasing this toy is the price tag. It’s pricey, and a lot of people won’t be able to afford nearly $150 for a panty vibrator.
So for our valued readers that are in a pinch, don’t worry. You can still get a panty vibrator that fits your budget, just check other alternatives in this best-vibrating panties roundup.

Original We-Vibe Moxie vs Moxie+
The original We-Vibe Moxie is no longer available—at least not on the website. They’ve fully shifted their efforts to the new version, which is probably for the best since the upgraded features are lovely and necessary. While you won’t be able to purchase the old version, here’s how it compares to the Moxie+. In the image below, the original Moxie+ is on the left and the newer version is on the right.
These two panty vibrators have a lot in common. They are identical in size, and mine are the same color (aqua.) Design-wise, they are impossible to tell apart. Both are comfortable to wear, have two magnetic clips, and provide roughly the same clitoral stimulation. When it comes to deciding between Moxie and Moxie+, the choice is fairly simple. You won’t be able to find the first version, so whether or not they’re the same price is irrelevant.
The remote on the new one has been redesigned and is solid black without the We-Vibe logo. The box is slightly different. In general, this is a top-of-the-line vibe, and it’s worth the purchase if you don’t already have one. If you already have one, the upgrades probably aren’t worth the expense.
Here’s the full review of We-Vibe Moxie to help you make a clearer comparison between the two.
Lovense Ferri
The Lovense Ferri is another wearable vibe with many uses that differs significantly from the We-Vibe Moxie Plus. The Ferri’s design isn’t quite as elegant or seamless, and it costs substantially more. However, it has a higher vibration strength, providing more intense clit stimulation.
However, the Lovense Ferri has a better battery life, lasting over three hours, and the app is easier to use and has more functionality. The Lovense has camming integration, for people who work in the sex industry or just like to show off what they’ve got. You can also try different patterns set up by strangers to see what gets other people off, which is a fun, harmless sex experiment. You’ll never get stuck with pulsing waves if that’s not your favorite pattern. The Ferri is slightly stronger than the Moxie, making it slightly louder. Overall, if you need the best app experience and are planning on using this primarily as a long-distance toy, I would purchase the Lovense Ferri. You can grab one for $199, or much less when on sale.
You can read more details about this panty vibrator in this Lovense Ferri review.
We-Vibe Sync Lite
The We-Vibe Sync Lite is a high-quality couples toy that’s also kind of a bargain. If saving money is your highest priority, this is the best toy on the list. Shaped like a C, the Sync Lite is a vibrator meant to be worn during penetrative sex. The internal arm vibrates on your G spot while the external arm vibrates against your clit. It takes a little positioning and practice to get it in the right spot, but it can make partnered sex much more pleasurable for people with vulvas.
During our We-Vibe Sync Lite review, we found out that this toy is compatible with the We-Vibe app as well, making it ideal for long-distance couples, hands-free play, and harnessing your creativity to create never-before-discovered masturbation rhythms. You can have a Sync Lite of your very own for just $89.
Lelo Tiani 3
The Lelo Tiani 3 is another couple vibe, meant for wearing during penetrative sex rather than about town in your panties. However, this vibe is so comfy and relatively discreet that it works for public play too! It has the classic C shape that it shares with the Sync Lite, and it has a remote control that works for up to 39 feet. Since Lelo doesn’t have an app, this wouldn’t be the best choice for long-distance couples looking to connect sexually. The toy is gorgeous and powerful and has features like SenseMotion. The two SenseMotion modes allow you to control the toy’s intensity level by tilting or shaking the remote, rather than finding the right button. It’s intuitive, especially when you’re in the heat of the moment and want to turn things up even further.
If you’re looking for the best remote-control experience and don’t need an app, the Lelo Tiani 3 is your best bet. You can pick one up for $169, or less when it’s on sale.
Just make sure you do further research before grabbing it. For starters, you can head to our Lelo Tiani 3 review right here.
Lovense Lush 3
The Lovense Lush 3 is an egg-shaped remote-controlled vibrator with an app that can’t be beat. It’s easy to wear, thanks to the discreet design, and the app makes it great for long-distance play, camming, or masturbation. Since you can use it hands-free, you could pair it with a clitoral vibrator, since the Lovense Lush 3 only stimulates the G spot with vibrations. Or, if you’re in the mood for a change, you can use the egg externally as a clitoral vibrator. This versatile toy has limits though, as its shape is not safe for anal play. Further, it’s on the expensive side. If they were the same price, I’d have to say that the Moxie+ wins because I always prefer clitoral to G spot stimulation, if I have to pick one over the other.
If you’re in the market for a G spot vibration toy with an incredible app, the Lovense Lush 3 might be the right choice for you. You can find one for $229.
You can check our review of the Lovense Lush 3 to learn how well the egg vibrator did and how the best sex toy app in the industry complements it.
Dame Eva
Dame Eva is a vibrator made for wear during penetrative sex. It has a unique shape that fits in between your labia, unlike most of the c-shaped couples vibes. The Eva is adorable, body-safe, and surprisingly powerful, though I did find myself having to hold it in place if I was using lube. The sensations are buzzy rather than rumbly vibrations but they easily did the trick for me, however, they wouldn’t be the best for someone who needs lots of power.
You can grab an Eva for $139. Make sure to read our Dame Eva review first to help you consider if this couples vibrator is what you need.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What Is the Best Lube for We-Vibe Moxie+?
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: never use silicone lube with a silicone vibe. What makes this toy body-safe is its silicone exterior. But a silicone exterior doesn’t make this bulletproof. Strangely, silicone can be its own worst enemy. If you mix silicone with silicone, they wear each other down and this can mean that a once body-safe toy now has pores. And what do pores love best? Bacteria. So when you use your toy, it stores your bacteria in the pores, and no matter how thoroughly you try to sanitize it, the bacteria have set up shop and won’t go anywhere. It can ruin your toy.
Further, it’s not just silicone that can make a sex toy porous—silicone toys can do it to each other. So, if you have several silicone toys like I do, you must store them separately, either in the storage bags they came with, makeup bags, or even the box they were sent in. Don’t go through all the trouble of selecting a body-safe toy only to accidentally turn it into a bacterial nightmare!
Is We-Vibe Moxie+ Waterproof?
Yes, the We-Vibe Moxie+ is waterproof IPX7, so you can submerge this toy fully without worrying about repercussions. You could also technically wear this swimming, except that the magnet will be on the outside of the swimsuit and visible unless you are also wearing a coverup.
How Do I Charge We-Vibe Moxie+?
The We-Vibe Moxie+ comes with a USB charging cable, making recharging easy. On the website, it says that the battery will last up to 2 hours. That’s good because you don’t want a wearable vibrator that can’t stay on for more than an hour. The ability to take your time and explore the steady speeds as well as the other vibration patterns We-Vibe Moxie offers is necessary to get the full experience.
When I tested the battery life, it lasted two hours and three minutes on a full charge. The website also claimed that it would take 90 minutes to charge. When I tested it, it took almost exactly 90 minutes to recharge.
How Do I Clean We-Vibe Moxie+?
We-Vibe Moxie+ is waterproof, which is at least half the battle when it comes to cleaning. To wash it, use warm water and anti-bacterial soap, drying it with a lint-proof cloth afterward.
If you want to give your panty vibrator a more thorough cleaning, check out this comprehensive sex toy cleaning guide.
How Do I Store We-Vibe Moxie+?
The We-Vibe Moxie+ comes with a storage bag. Unlike the original storage bag, this bag is linen, small, and perfect for travel. Throw it in the wash occasionally so you can ensure that the bag stays as clean as you keep your toy.
Is the Packaging Discreet?
Yes, We-Vibe always takes great care to ensure that your privacy remains intact, even during the shipping process. The packages are plain and inconspicuous and come from Wow Tech, which isn’t immediately recognizable as a sex toy brand. You won’t have to worry about broadcasting your panty-vibe purchases to your neighbors when you shop with We-Vibe.
