Warriors vs Celtics Odds, Player Props & Predictions (Nov 6)

  • By Admin
  • The Golden State Warriors visit the Boston Celtics at TD Garden on Wednesday night
  • Both teams are a game off first place in their respective divisions
  • With Jaylen Brown out, Boston is still a heavy favorite in the Warriors vs Celtics odds

The Golden State Warriors (6-1, 4-0 away, 6-1 ATS) look to stay perfect on the road early in the season when they visit the reigning NBA-champion Boston Celtics (7-1, 2-0 home, 5-3 ATS) at TD Garden on Wednesday night (7:40 pm ET). Despite Jaylen Brown (25.7 PPG, 7.2 RPG, 3.8 APG) being ruled out with a hip injury, Boston is still a heavy favorite in tonight’s Warriors vs Celtics odds.

Golden State Warriors vs Boston Celtics Odds

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Golden State Warriors +6.5 (-115) +195 Over 229.5 (-110)
Boston Celtics -6.5 (-105) -230 Under 229.5 (-110)

Boston is listed as a 6.5-point home favorite and -230 on the moneyline in Wednesday’s NBA odds. The Warriors come back as +195 road underdogs while the game total is sitting at a massive 229.5.   Odds as of Nov. 6 at ESPN Bet. Lock in this ESPN Bet promo for a bonus to use on the NBA tonight.

The Warriors are tied for the fewest ATS losses in the league so far (one), while the Celtics are just 5-3 ATS, having to stare down massive numbers on a nightly basis. Against the total, Golden State is 4-3 O/U while Boston is 3-5 O/U.

In addition to missing Brown, the Celtics are still without center Kristaps Porzingis, who has yet to play this season due to a foot injury.

The Warriors are comparatively healthy. The only player on the Golden State injury report is backup point guard De’Anthony Melton (6.3 PPG, 1.3 RPG, 2.7 APG), who is out with a back injury.

NBA player props from DraftKings on Nov. 6.

The Warriors/Celtics props list Jayson Tatum with a game-high point total of 29.5. Tatum is currently fourth in the league in scoring, averaging exactly 30.0 PPG through eight contests. Steph Curry, per usual, has the highest total on the Warriors side, but at just 23.5.

No other player in the game has a total over 19.5.

Tatum also has the highest rebound total of the night at just 7.5. He currently leads the Celtics, averaging 7.4 RPG.

Warriors vs Celtics Prediction

Boston’s two home games so far this season were a 23-point win over the Knicks on opening night and an 11-point win over Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks on Oct. 28. This is the first game back home after a four-game road trip, which can be difficult on the legs, but I don’t expect the C’s to have any issue keeping their perfect home record intact against the Warriors.

Golden State looks improved this season, replacing the likes of aging Klay Thompson with Buddy Hield. They have the second-best Net Rating in the league at the moment (+16.8), one spot ahead of the Celtics.

But look at who the Warriors have played (i.e. nobody good): Blazers, Jazz, Clippers, Pelicans (twice), Rockets, and Wizards. New Orleans is the only one of those teams likely to challenge for a top-six spot in its conference.

Golden State’s fast start will come to a crashing halt tonight against the reigning champs.

GSW vs BOS picks:

  • Celtics -3.5 (-170)
  • Buddy Hield under 15.5 points (-125)

Sascha Paruk’s 2024-25 NBA betting record: 10-8 (+3.17 units). All wagers 1 unit unless stated otherwise.
