Six races over the jumps at Uttoxeter on Sunday, 1.55 – 5pm. Sean Bowen, Harry Cobden and Sam Twiston-Davies are among the jocks in action, and we’ve the Summer Cup Handicap Chase (around £40k to the winner). Lovely stuff.

Rebecca Curtis has booked the superb Danny Mullins, his only booked mount on the card. His form is frankly more convincing of late than his mount, but the excellent handler must be commended for securing the services of such a top-flight jock.
The horse was placed in this last term, then recorded a course win soon after. If Danny can get as good a tune out of this fella as Brian Hughes did last year, perhaps our each-way support can be rewarded.
3.52 Merry Poppins
A Donald McCain mare, nicely weighted, and in a very consistent run of form. Ran well at Cheltenham in April, and has been freshened up a little since his last spin (36 days). Each-way price, so that’s the way we’ll go.
