Not sure if the Men in Black Neuralyzer has been developed into a real product yet but if it has, I’d happily use it to forget about yesterday’s tips. A non-runner coupled with two horses who didn’t even place is not a profitable combination. The one horse I liked who I didn’t tip up, yep, you guessed it, won.

Tuesday though is a new day and I’ve picked out three US Horse Racing Tips from the races this evening and overnight including a Nap of the Day and a big-priced each-way shot…

US Horse Racing Tips

  • Back Cage Match in the 18:34 at Philadelphia @ SP
  • Back Flattery’s Music e/w in the 20:40 at Finger Lakes @ SP
  • Back Victory Line in the 02:25 at Assiniboia Downs @ SP

*Races will be priced-up by the traders at betfred.com closer to Post Time.

18:34 Philadelphia:

I’m looking to start Tuesday off with a nice short-priced winner to get some positive momentum, as Cage Match has every chance of breaking his Maiden at Parx in the third race on the card.

This half-brother to Breeders’ Cup Classic winner White Abarrio has been breezing up at Belmont Park following two solid if unspectacular races at Parx to open his career but some of the speed he’s been showing has been legit, including going 4f in 47.95 back at the end of May.

A performance like that should be more than enough to win in this small field and establish himself. I’m not expecting a big price and no doubt he’ll go off as a relatively short odds-on favourite but this horse is potentially one to watch later in the season when he comes up against better company.

20:40 Finger Lakes:

My longshot to place using Betfred’s Extra Place Races this evening is exactly that, a longshot, as I like the look of rank outsider Flattery’s Music to hit the board at what I’m expecting to be a very big price.

This five-year-old filly has endured a rough 2024 so far, having failed to finish in the top three in any of her three runs. Yet her four-year-old season was more than respectable. It included two wins along with placing three times from 12 starts.

If we go solely on recent form then we should be tossing this one but the price of 12/1 in the US Pools would certainly tempt me if we get that over here in a sprint race, where a good break and a bit of luck can really put you in a good position.

With Betfred paying out for that extra place should all seven runners go really does make this a small each-way play for me.

02:25 Assiniboia Downs:

Our Nap of the Day comes from Canada, where the four-year-old Victory Line has a great chance of winning once more in the early hours.

This Lee Delaronde-trained horse has moved around a fair bit in his short career, having started off in the strong fields down at Gulfstream Park and doing very little, despite admirable speed figures.

After a couple of races at Tampa Bay Downs (including breaking his Maiden), he would be moved once again, this time to Turf Paradise where he’d win once more and now it is up to Assiniboia Downs.

The quality of his opposition has continued to drop-off with every move and his speed has been slowly increasing, which is a very good combination for us. He tasted victory again last time out, here just a fortnight ago and I like his chances of doing so again. I’m expecting 6/5 when the market is priced-up.
