Ridden by Ryan Munger, the colt, bred in Kentucky by TCR Ranch, is now 4-1-2 from 7 starts.

Chiefswood Stables swept the podium in Sunday’s $400,000 Breeders’ Stakes, final jewel in the Canadian Triple Crown. Roscar took home gold, Saccharine the silver (both trained by Rachel Halden) and Side Street, trained by Layne Giliforte, earned bronze. A $1 all-Chiefswood triactor returned $131.25.

Neenah, with Skye Chernetz in the irons, pulled off a 28-1 upset in Saturday’s third race. Owned by Richard Forbush and trained by David Cotey, the 2-year-old daughter of Copper Bullet-Tahfeez won the 5 ½-furlong main track race by 2 ¾ lengths and returned $58.40 for the win.

Leading rider Sahin Civaci won four races on Sunday and in doing so, reached the century mark for wins on the year. Geneva, owned and trained by Kelly Callaghan and ridden by her husband, Slade Callaghan, won Sunday’s fourth race. The daughter of Air Force Blue-Geographic, bred by Summerhill Farm, won the 7 ½-furlong inner turf race by 2 ¾ lengths and paid $29.50.

Live racing continues this weekend with four turf stakes races on Saturday, three (Grade 2 Nearctic, Grade 2 bet365 Dance Smartly and Grade 3 HPIbet Singspiel) on the E.P. Taylor and one (bet365 Algonquin) on the inner. On Sunday, Canadian-foaled rookies tackle 1 1/6 miles over the E.P. Taylor. Post time for both days is 1:10 p.m.
