Together has promoted Chris Baguley to the newly-created role of group channel development director at the specialist lender.
The firm says Baguley will provide “strategic support and launch new initiatives, aimed at further building the business’s brand across commercial and personal finance markets”.
Baguley will move from his current role as director of corporate at the Cheadle-based property lender he joined in 2006.
He has previously held senior posts at Manchester Building Society and Yorkshire Bank, where he specialised in commercial banking, during a career spanning almost 35 years.
Baguley says: “I’m looking forward to exploring ways in which I can help deliver Together’s growth ambitions across the wider UK lending marketing — driving a collaborative approach across each business area in the group as we deliver on our plans for the next five years.”
Together chief executive of group sales and distribution Marc Goldberg adds: “His [Baguley’s] experience, drive and passion for everything we do as a business will continue to be an asset to Together, and we are excited to see what he can bring to this new position.”
