The fifth release of a classic ‘Australian’ blend. Cabernet Sauvignon at 57% and Shiraz at 43%. The close spaced Crayères Vineyard (1.5m by 1.5m) is grown on the 37 million year old Terra Rossa ridge in Wrattonbully. Maturation in old French oak barrels and foudres for 14 months.

Deep garnet colour. Rose wood and petals, black currant flesh, white pepper, milk chocolate, balsa wood, woody clove, a hint of umami stock and iodine with earthy aged cheddar. Medium bodied with an initial suave plushness filling out an elegant structure. Tight, velvety tannins run the full length and provide the frameworks for the future.
