From the spiritual home of Riesling in Australia, the Clare Valley. The region adopted screw caps across the board in the early 2000s and wines like these reap the benefits.
Taylors, St Andrews, Riesling, Clare Valley, 2024
Very pale hue. Intense lemon and lime citrus, flecks of mandarin flesh, pickled ginger, a little slate and sweet brown spice. The intensity carries through on the firm palate with vibrant and potent lemon/lime citrus (flesh, pips and juice) with Dry and chalky close with expected lively acidity. All the framework for longevity.
