When we think of New World wineries, our thoughts are of wineries that are maybe 40-50 years old, but in South America, there are many wineries that are over 100 years old, such as Bodega Luis Segundo Correas from Argentina. I was fortunate to speak with Andres Moller, an owner of the winery, during VanWineFest 2023. He talked to me about their Valle Las Acequias Chardonnay 2022, and the meaning of the name on the label. It dates back to the indigenous people and their method of irrigation. Watch and find out more in this video.
