Tahbilk Shiraz Museum Release 2014

  • By Admin

The Tahbilk winery is known for longevity and their museum releases are time capsules. The label below shows 2017, but nought else has changed. The 2015 Museum release is now available.

Tahbilk, Museum Release, Shiraz, Nagambie Lakes, 2014

a hin of bricking red at the rim. Still fragrant, can smell the glass from a metre away. Development starting: masterstock and chinese 5 spice over plum jam, english rose heart, camping black pepper, drinking cocoa, some regional mint, cola essence, cedar and leather satchel. Medium to full bodied with slippery mid palate. Going through a transitional phase where the acidity is still juicy and cutting through the savoury, dark development of umami and earth. Tannins still firm and drying. Has time, but in a neat peak window now.

RRP: $35.95
Alc: 14%
Rating:  93/100
