Team News

Sweden winger Anthony Elanga was taken off at half-time against Azerbaijan last time out, and he could be dropped from the starting lineup this time around in place of Ken Sema.

Viktor Johansson should continue in between the sticks in absence of the injured Robin Olsen, while Jens Cajuste and Lucas Bergvall will be looking to push for starts after both made cameos in the previous fixture.

Estonia remain without centre-back Maksim Paskotsi, who picked up an injury whilst featuring for Grasshopper in August.

Sweden to win to nil @ 1/2

Sweden came close to keeping a clean sheet against Azerbaijan in their 3-1 victory on Thursday, with the hosts collecting a consolation goal in the 82nd minute after missing a penalty in the first half, but I think on home soil they can have better success.

The Swedes showed their devastating firepower in attack with both strikers Alexander Isak and Viktor Gyokeres finding the back of the net, the former netting a brace. And I think these two stars can run riot again when they welcome Estonia to Solna on Sunday.

There is a huge gulf in class between the two squads and it really shows that Sweden shouldn’t be competing in League C of this competition. They started off in style against Azerbaijan, and I am confident they can win comfortably again, this time ensuring they end the game with a clean sheet.

Sweden to win to nil at 1/2 Over 2.5 Sweden goals @ 8/13

They managed three goals in their last appearance and I think it’s only right to back them to accomplish that feat again. Sweden have two outstanding strikers in Isak and Gyokeres to lead their line, and they have the potential to deliver success for the Blagult if the rest of the squad develops and can be bolstered.

Both are already up and running in the Nations League and I think there are more goals in store for them in this international break. Then you have the likes of Sema, Elanga and Dejan Kulusevski who all offer a goal threat.

I think Sweden’s attacking stars can make it a long old evening for Estonia’s back line and I fancy them to score at least three goals again.
