Swarm Matchmaking: a Breakdown

Swarm Matchmaking: a Breakdown

Swarm Multiplayer Breakdown

League of Legends is a team-based game, and there are very few instances where you can play alone. Swarm is Riot’s brand new game mode, and is part of their major Summer Event. In Swarm, you can play alone or with up to 3 other friends to battle it out against hoard of enemies.

In this game mode, you can play 9 different champions. These champions are Jinx, Seraphine, Aurora, Illaoi, Leona, Xayah, Yasuo, Riven and Briar. In this Mobalytics article, we will answer the question and clear up some confusion- is there solo queue, ranked or is it a solo game?

Cyber Cat Yuumi Splash Crop

As we alluded to in the introduction to this article, you can play with up to 3 friends and a total of 4. When you complete every map and finish the initial campaign, you unlock a new map/game mode called Match Making Island. This is where you can play with strangers from your server. However, you don’t have to play with anyone at all. You can play completely solo.

You can also play with friends while doing the campaign and complete every map with them. You do not need to play solo, although it may be slightly easier.
