Swansea and Norwich will both be looking to kickstart their seasons when they meet in a 15:00 kick-off at the Swansea.com Stadium in the Championship on Saturday.

Both teams are currently languishing in the bottom half of the standings after winning just one of their opening four league games. However, while Swansea were beaten by West Brom last time out, Norwich did pick up their first three points of the Johannes Hoff Thorup era away at Coventry.

Team News

Swansea head coach Luke Williams is sweating over the fitness of forward Liam Cullen, who remains an injury doubt due to an ongoing ankle problem.

Norwich also have injury concerns in the final third, with last season’s leading scorer Josh Sargent a doubt with an ankle issue. However, Kaide Gordon is available to make his debut after joining on a season-long loan from Liverpool.

Swansea vs Norwich Odds

With home advantage, Swansea are the 13/10 favourites to win this one, while it is 21/10 that Norwich follow up their victory at Coventry with another road success. The draw is priced at 12/5.

Both teams to score is available at 4/6 and Swansea forward Zan Vipotnik is the favourite in the anytime goalscorer market at 9/5.

Norwich to win @ 21/10

It hasn’t been a great start to the season for either of these sides, but while Swansea are winless in three across all competitions, Norwich registered their first league victory of the campaign on the road at Coventry last time out.

That 1-0 success at the Coventry Building Society Arena could act as a turning point for the Canaries under new head coach Thorup, who has had two further weeks to work with the bulk of his squad over the international break.

Swansea have failed to score in their last two games, losing both, and it is difficult to see them breaking down an improving Norwich team that are now unbeaten in their last three league games.

Norwich certainly look like the shrewd choice to pick up all three points.

#PickYourPunt: Both teams to score – No and under 2.5 goals @ 8/5

A lack of goals could prove to be Swansea’s stumbling block this season, as they have failed to score in their last 260 minutes of football since Cullen’s early strike in their 1-1 draw with Cardiff in the South Wales derby.

Under 2.5 goals has been a winning bet in the Swans’ last three matches and in three of their four Championship games this season, while there have been less than three goals scored in both of Norwich’s away games in the Championship this term.

The Canaries kept a clean sheet in their 1-0 victory at Coventry last time out and a similar outcome could be on the cards in Wales. It could, therefore, be worth incorporating a no in the both teams to score market with under 2.5 goals as part of a #PickYourPunt.
