Stoke City picked up a much-needed three points in the Championship against relegation rivals Queens Park Rangers in midweek at the bet365 Stadium.

They return to home soil this Saturday (15:00) to face promotion-chasing Coventry City, who salvaged a point at Plymouth Argyle on Wednesday night.

Stoke vs Coventry Betting Tips

  • Coventry to win – 7/5
  • Haji Wright to score anytime – 21/10

Match Odds

Stoke are 7/4 to record back-to-back victories for the first time since October. A draw can be backed at 13/5, while Coventry are 7/5 to come away with the three points.

Both teams to score is priced at 8/13 and over 2.5 goals is 4/5.

Team News

Stoke’s only injury concern presently is goalkeeper Frankie Fielding.

Coventry are missing key midfielder Ben Sheaf as well as Jamie Allen. Sky Blues boss Mark Robins revealed that Callum O’Hare missed the trip to Plymouth in midweek due to fatigue, so the player could be back for this one.

Coventry to win @ 7/5

The Potters may have won a six-pointer against QPR last time out but they are going to be facing much stronger opponents in Coventry this weekend.

The visitors have lost just once in all competitions since December 2 and they have won eight of their last 13.

Plymouth have made Home Park a tough place to visit this season and even though they had an off night, the Sky Blues still managed to leave the game with a share of the spoils.

Stoke’s concerns have been slightly eased for now but that won’t last for long as we expect Coventry to have a fun afternoon at the bet365 Stadium on Saturday.

Coventry to win at 7/5

Haji Wright to score anytime @ 21/10

Coventry’s exciting American forward Haji Wright has been enjoying himself in his first season in English football. The 25-year-old has scored 10 goals in 30 Championship appearances and is the club’s leading marksman in the division.

Wright netted a brace last weekend against league strugglers Millwall, and we think that he can cause problems for a Stoke side that is also rooted at the wrong end of the table.

He tends to be at his most dangerous when attacking on the left side of the front three, but he would still carry a threat even if he was deployed through the middle. We think he is worth backing to get on the scoresheet here at 21/10.
