County Insurance Services, a leading rural insurance broker, are pleased to make a number of internal promotions following a period of growth.

As of 4th September County are pleased to announce Oliver Burns has been appointed as our Sales Director and Rebecca Kooner has been appointed as our Marketing Manager.

Ollie will continue to work as an executive within the company alongside his new role as Sales Director. Becky will be taking over Ollie’s previous responsibilities as Marketing Manager, alongside her current role as Account Handler.

Ollie joined County in 2016 as a Farm Executive and as he progressed he took on the role as Sales and Marketing Manager. Previously a group secretary for a large farming union, he has a passion for rural life and strong links with the farming community in his home county of Rutland.

On his appointment, Ollie said: “Working at County is like a livelihood for me. Delivering rural business insurance and enabling clients to actively make a difference to their communities is what it’s all about for me”.

He added: “Everyone who works for the family firm takes pride in serving our clients and I’m pleased to help continue to shape that as we expand and grow.”

Becky joined the company in April 2022 as an Account Handler and has been involved with supporting Ollie with his marketing position. Prior to this she worked for a local broker providing agricultural insurance and has worked in the insurance industry for over 30 years.

On taking on her new role, Becky said: “I am really excited with my new role, I have a passion for Insurance and Marketing so combining the two together is fantastic and I am positive for the future.”

She added: “This is a positive period of growth for County and we are continuing to expand as a business; we are always on the look out for new members to our teams. County are a very forward thinking company and value staff development and career progress.”
