Our Savoury Hidden Veg Protein Waffles are crispy, healthy, and delicious, with plenty of room for creativity. Using just a few simple ingredients, you can easily make these sensational protein waffles that will always hit the spot, even for the picky eaters at home. We also love how easy they are to store—up to 5 days in the fridge or a couple of months in the freezer. You can even adjust the macros by using either Tasteless Protein Collagen or Tasteless Protein For Kids.
Ingredients
2 tablespoons of your oil of preference. (We used olive oil)
½ cup of Milk of your preference
1/3 cup Greek Yoghurt
2 large eggs
4 scoops of Tasteless Protein by Feel Good Protein (or Tasteless Protein For Kids)
1 ¼ cups of Self Raising Flour (gluten-free)
½ cup of cooked broccoli and carrot
1 teaspoon mixed Italian herbs
1 cup grated Cheese
Olive oil spray
Capilano Hot Chilli Honey (optional)
Method
1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, oil, milk, and Greek yoghurt.
2. Stir in the Tasteless Protein by Feel Good Protein until well combined.
3. Add the flour and mix until fully incorporated.
4. Mash the veggies and mixed herbs you want to include, then fold them into the batter.
5. Mix in the cheese until evenly distributed.
6. Spray your waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray and cook the waffles as instructed in the waffle iron instructions.
7. Repeat steps 6 and 7 until all of the batter is used.
8. Serve the Savoury Hidden Veg Protein Waffles with your favourite condiments and a sprinkle of fresh herbs.
