Peak Pharmaceuticals’ subsidiary Retrieve Medical has signed a contract to begin patented software solution implementation at a regional medical centre in the Southern area of the US.
The collaboration is intended to immediately begin the implementation phase of Retrieve Medical’s software solution, Retrieve Dx, at the medical centre which has 100 beds with around 1,000 providers.
Retrieve Dx is expected to improve patient diagnosis, enhance medical documentation, achieve better outcomes, and increase revenue for regional medical centres.
Once the diagnoses are identified by the software and reviewed by the doctor, they are inserted into the medical record with supportive documentation as well as billing information.
Retrieve Dx software also increases the physicians’ efficiency while creating additional revenue for healthcare providers.
It is integrated with electronic medical record providers Epic Systems and Oracle Cerner.
Retrieve Medical chairman Dr Mark ssaid: “We are excited about the opportunity to meet the needs of the nation’s community hospitals as well as larger academic teaching centres.
“With each new customer that we add to our platform, it becomes easier to communicate our value proposition to others and grow our overall business.
“We believe that today’s announcement is only the beginning of what will be a strong commercial year for our company.”
