one of the nicest things about having an extra phone (although only 1 has a sim card in it with the tmobile network and can work to receive texts and browse the web and be used as an emergency wifi hotspot if i get stuck in a place the wifi wont work) but now if i play bejeweled for hours and it drains all the juice, i do it on the spare phone which is useful for nothing else. u see bejeweled doesnt need any internet connection. and this way i dont drain the power on the good phone. all i need to do is remember to charge them both fully while i sleep. 

not only this, but since the phone isnt doing anything but playing bejeweled i think the power is lasting longer since its the same as if it was in airplane mode since its not connected to a wifi or a simcard. 

that phone still shows the Houston time instead of the time here in Reno though. but at least now my computer is finally no longer 2 hours behind on its time clock. the new phone thats used for texts, calls, Uber etc, it shows the right time for reno. but i still dont know how to make my yahoo emails on the phone automatically type with much larger sized texts. my mom said to ask tmobile but i guarantee u they wouldnt want to figure it out. Lightning claimed he couldnt show me because he didnt know how, and Ray promised to show me if im ever in Toledo but he doesnt have a working car anymore and i wish Vince would buy him one. if i ever get back over 30k i need to go do it. 

no matter how bad of shape a new car under 3000 would be in it would be better than the old one with 300k miles on it. 100k and 300k miles could make a difference.. 

ive actually recovered money since coming to reno (only been here 3 days) but i won 300+ poker, $500 plus on a new EV advantage machine i dont understand yet (and neither did any other slot pros on twitter). guarantee u i just got lucky since i dont have any idea the correct numbers. then after that the following days i won another 300 at poker again, then 300 on another machine that i already knew the numbers on, and 100 more at poker. so yeah im up at least 1500 on the trip and still havent paid cash for a hotel room here. 

i was getting really tired of paying 400 a week for a not so great hotel and 650 a week for a really nice safe hotel in Houston. that is a real drain and i really miss living at Vinces house and Rays house. 

i really am going to miss bomb pots and PLO. u wont find bomb pots here in reno and very little PLO. 

also moving from one hotel to another continually (without a microwave to cook with and a large sized fridge) really limits what u can eat in the room without paying big prices at restaraunts. Uber fares are higher than i last remember here too now and its too unsafe to ride a bus even during the day. but thats only because i remember a guy starting a fight with the driver the last time i ever rode a bus in reno and ive never wanted to since. also im carrying too much cash on me in case i run past a machine in a huge plus ev state that might require a large investment. or i might need quite a few more rebuys in the poker game than i intended. i am going to really miss the long term hotels that are like apartments even though i can no longer afford them. and of course in Reno they would be like 170 a day instead of the nice one lightning found me in when he arrived that was like 90 a day. 

theres many cities around the country its unaffordable to get a place to live and where a large majority of the city is homeless due to it. think of spokane, seattle, bozeman, missoula, and almost everywhere in the far north except michigan and ohio. 

So many other countries around the world in Europe, Russia and China have such a better standard of living than the USA we really need RFK in office or we are just going to continue the downhill slide until we get bombed for not minding our own business in the Ukraine. the cost of a place to rent the cost of gas and the cost of food, would be far less than half of what it is now if it wasnt for US military spending in the Ukraine and on other useless adventures. 

now that i finally created a burner facebook account under a different email, i can now play games on facebook again and join groups for cities poker club groups. people without a facebook account are basically cut off from any kind of normal life in public. 

one piece of bad news for my longetivity in reno (which i wont exactly want anyway im only here to cut out hotel costs) but the games here not only suck because its mostly all NL, but the games are a bit more nitty and tight than i remembered previously. About the only good thing about Reno is there is more than 1location of a huge chain not offered in most cities that is a large sized low priced 24 hour grocery store similar to walmart or HEB. 

i also seem to have lost most of my spoons and ive only got 3 stainless steel spoons to eat with left. and ive hated plastic silverware my entire life. 

i think i left them in other hotels and they got mixed in with the hotels silverware. yes sometimes i took much nicer long term kitchen type places and the higher priced options include silverware. 

also none of downtown reno feels safe anymore to walk around outside in at night. 

i still need someone in reno to show me how the new regal riches machine at the atlantis works. (didnt see it elsewhere) the one with the new blue and orange levels and the extra money on the micro gray level (used to be colored blue on the old machines) that now includes dollar amounts on the wild symbols that increase the payouts. i know theres slot pros here such as Jaime Navarro who used to run the atlantis mix game. its a shame Yoshi is no longer with us. without the correct numbers i could lose my ass on it. but im sure theres plays left on it since its new. (although maybe its a trap to get people to take the plays way too low in which case they isnt plays on it). but then how did i win $500 on it? got me back from my poker loss at the atlantis that day.
