How to Make PB&J Protein Bites
I love that you only need 5 ingredients for this healthy snack!!
Ingredients for Peanut Butter and Jelly Protein Bites
- Dry Milk
- Peanut Butter – You can use crunchy or smooth; we personally prefer smooth at our house!
- Oatmeal – Both quick oats or traditional oatmeal options are just fine! For this recipe, I used traditional oats.
- Honey
- Jelly – Any flavor!
Instructions for PB&J Protein Balls
First, combine all ingredients except for the jelly in a large mixing bowl. Stir well until a dough forms. Using a cookie scoop, measure out the dough for each PB&J Protein Ball and roll it into a sphere with your hands.
Next, flatten it with the palms of your hands and using a knife, dab a small smear of jelly in the center of the dough circle. Pull the edges over the jelly carefully so the jelly doesn’t squish out and roll it into a ball.
Store in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to a week. These PB&J Protein Bites are a perfect addition to your kiddos’ lunchbox or even as a snack after school! I can’t wait for you all to try these!
