Oregon State vs Colorado Odds, Prediction & Best Bets (Saturday, Nov 4)

  • By Admin
  • The #16-ranked Oregon State Beavers are 13.5-point road favorites over the Colorado Buffaloes in their Pac-12 college football game on Saturday, November 4
  • Oregon State is 3-1 against the spread in the past four games with Colorado
  • The Buffaloes are 4-3 straight up all-time at home against the Beavers

When the Oregon State Beavers (6-2, 5-3 ATS) meet the Colorado Buffaloes (4-4, 4-4 ATS), the visitors often make themselves right at home. In two of the last three games between these two schools, the away team has covered. Straight up, away teams are 4-3 in the past seven games.

However, you have to go all the way back to 2014 to find a game when the visiting team covered as the road chalk. Oregon State won that year 36-31 as 4-point away favorites.

It’s the #16 Beavers who are again the road choice this season. They’re 13.5-point favorites in the Oregon State vs Colorado odds. The Beavers are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 Pac-12 games.

Let’s take a little deeper look into the Oregon State vs Colorado odds and offer you our prediction for this college football game between Pac-12 rivals.

Beavers vs Buffaloes Betting Splits

In the college football public betting splits, the people are loving them some Colorado Buffaloes. In the spread splits, Colorado is pulling 94% of both the handle and bet action. The Buffaloes are 0-5 ATS in their last five games against schools from the Pac-12 North Division.

There’s no public betting numbers on offer on the moneyline splits. Colorado is 1-10 SU in the school’s last 11 Pac-12 games. As far as the total of 62.5 points in concerned, it’s the under generating 75% of handle and 65% of bets. Four of the past five Oregon State vs Colorado games have gone over.

The #16 Beavers are set with a betting line of +100000 in the National Championship odds. Colorado is given a win total of 5.5 games. The over is offered at +240 odds in this betting market, while you get a line of -320 on the under.

Beavers Will Run The Ball

Colorado’s defense is #10 in the Pac-12 at stopping the run. The Buffaloes are allowing 165 yards per game on the ground. Beavers RB Damien Martinez has rushed for 763 yards, which is second overall in the conference.

Martinez went off for 178 yards rushing and three TDs last year against Colorado. Do that math and it doesn’t add up to a positive outcome for the Buffaloes.

Oregon State’s offense features a solid balance between running (279) and passing (231) plays. The Beavers utilize the run to wear down the defense and pull the secondary closer to the line of scrimmage, opening up the field for downfield passes.

Can Buffaloes Protect Sanders?

The coach’s kid is taking a beating and the coach doesn’t like it one bit. No QB in the nation has been sacked more than the 41 times that Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders has been slammed to the field turf. His dad, Colorado coach Deion Sanders, was suggesting this week that it might be time for the Buffaloes to get some new offensive linemen.

That won’t help this week, though. Oregon State is #3 in the Pac-12 with 26 sacks. UCLA got to Sanders seven times last week and it could be another long, painful Saturday for the Buffaloes QB.

Oregon State vs Colorado Prediction

Last week’s loss to Arizona was the second conference setback for Oregon State, making this a must-win game if the Beavers maintain hopes of reaching the Pac-12 final. Colorado must win two more games to be bowl eligible.

In the last six games in which the favorite was a double-digit choice, the chalk is 2-4 ATS. Sanders is #2 in the nation in passing yards (329.62 yards per game). He’ll make plays in between taking sacks.

Look for Colorado to stay with Oregon State, covering but falling shy of the victory.

Oregon State vs Colorado Pick: Colorado Buffaloes +13.5 (-110)
