We may have only seen Michael Bell’s Moyet once, but that was enough to catch the eye at Goodwood last time out.

The son of Blue Point may have finished over seven lengths behind winner Barnwell Boy, but connections will have been pleased with that display as a starting point.

With Barnwell Boy destined for Royal Ascot, the form of that race could be solid and more is expected of Moyet, especially due to his family connections.

On debut, he took a while to get going, but the experience of that race should mean he is the one to beat on Thursday.

15:45 – Another Romance @ 7/2

Another Romance improved from a mark of 87 to 99 last season, and the four-year-old may not be done yet. Simon & Ed Crisford’s charge has been off the track since October, but the Crisfords are a team that are well-adept at getting a horse ready off an absence, and Another Romance won a Novice Stakes at Wolverhampton off a 287-day break earlier in her career.

Another Romance bolted up on good-to-firm ground at Salisbury last season; she has dropped two pounds since running like something was amiss at Newmarket in October, and everything looks in place for a big run. 

17:30 – Storm Asset @ 2/1

Storm Asset scored well when stepping up in trip at Wolverhampton last time out, and Tony Carroll’s charge can score again. 

Storm Asset has never won on the turf, but he has put up one of his best RPRs on the grass at Brighton on good-to-firm ground, and the recent step-up in trip may have been the key to the four-year-old’s success. 

Carroll’s charge is due to go up three pounds in the future, Millie Wonnacott once again takes off a handy five, and Storm Asset can win again.
