NBA Betting Tips: Who will advance to the In-Season Tournament final?

The NBA In-Season Tournament has reached the semi-final stage, with four teams all looking to book their place in the final in Las Vegas. We’ve picked out the best bets for the upcoming matches.

Pacers @ Bucks – Over 255.5 Points @ 10/11

The Eastern Conference semi-final sees the Indiana Pacers take on the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Pacers knocked out the Boston Celtics to book their place in the last four, while the Bucks cruised past the Knicks in 146-122 home win.

Indiana, who are currently the highest-scoring team in the NBA with 128.4 points per game, have arguably been the surprise package of the In-Season Tournament. They’ve topped 120 points in all five of their tournament games, sweeping through their group with four consecutive wins, before their emphatic quarter-final triumph over Boston.

The Pacers downed Milwaukee in the first meeting between the teams earlier this season, but Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard are on fire for the Bucks at the moment, combining for 63 points in their quarter-final victory over the Knicks last time out.

Regardless of the outcome, both teams can rack up the points here.

Pelicans @ Lakers – Lakers (-1.5) @ 10/11

The Western Conference semi-final sees the Los Angeles Lakers and the New Orleans Pelicans lock horns in Las Vegas.

LeBron James’ team-high 31 points was enough for the Lakers to edge past the Phoenix Suns in their quarter-final clash, while the Pelicans rallied past Sacramento.

I’d argue that New Orleans have more depth than LA, and if they can slow down James like they did De’Aaron Fox in their last-eight encounter, they will have some joy here, surely.

However, it seems like destiny that James wins the inaugural In-Season Tournament, and I suspect that he’s highly-motivated to do so. It may take another big performance from LA’s superstar, but he’s capable of it.
