AUSTRALIAN NAP BANKED AGAIN OVERNIGHT! Racing Down Under to start a new week from Newcastle and Ballarat. Overnight Double pays 13/2!

MY AUSTRALIAN NAP WON AGAIN OVERNIGHT AND IS CHASING A HAT-TRICK NOW!
Race 6 Ballarat 6.00 Preconi (best price 15/8)
Promising filly who is a perfect 2-2 at this track and was firmly in command here on penultimate start last month; failed to fire at Sandown last time but that best forgiven; expected to get back on track.
Armed with a good draw and back at her beloved Ballarat it is hard to look past PRECONI who still looks open to further improvement after just a handful of starts. She is 2-2 here and really should have too much for this field despite that below par run at Sandown last time. Meetmein Melbourne is equally unexposed and if improving will be the danger to the favourite. Scottish Jewel won on penultimate start but then finished last at Flemington and has a bit to prove off the back of that disappointing display.

Improving filly who left previous form behind to open her account gamely at Bathurst last time, prevailing by just a nose in the end; scope to keep progressing and looks well placed here to go and follow up.
There was lots to like about how much ground SHIFFRIN made up before battling on well to get the verdict. If she can settle better here from a decent draw she will be hard to beat. Such a big field so she will need a bit of luck when coming through but looks the most likely winner and that is being reflected in the betting. Borrowed Luck won at Quirindi last month but has been beaten quite heavily twice since so needs to get back on track to pose a threat to this favourite. Nephradiva best of the rest but still needs more.
