Reading time in its original form has proven effective and, at the same time, has a new relaxing effect. In Münster, Westphalia, these very special mechanical watches have been created under the direction of company founder Manfred Brassler since 2001: They have only one hand, from whose fine needle tip the time can be read almost to the minute.
In a limited edition of only 50 pieces, the new MeisterSinger Unomats are now presented in an almost “black as night” look. With a black DLC case, a crisp dial design, in deep Arctic blue and orange (dedicated to the Dutch market) and intense luminosity, the robust sports watch shows itself in a new guise and ushers in its next generation. With its screw-down crown, extra-strong steel back, 30 bar water resistance, and anti-magnetic protection, the Unomat is the sportiest watch in the collection.
New highlights after 3 years
A small but fine difference to the previous Unomat: The 5-minute markers are tone-on-tone with the dial: clearly recognizable, yet discreet enough to create an even better, more robust appearance. The double-digit hour markers consist of three-dimensional, cast luminous elements that are applied to the dial and glow intensely at night because they are thicker and absorb and emit light from the side. The relatively wide needle hand and the hour markers for MeisterSinger are also equipped with strong luminosity. The case of both edition watches has been deep black coated with carbon. The case back and middle section have been matte sandblasted, while the bezel has been elegantly polished. The diamond-like carbon coating is particularly abrasion-resistant and insensitive. In the tradition of the Netherlands editions, the Unomat NL Edition wears the crown on the left side.
