I’ve got some corkers for you in this week’s budget-friendly Meal Plan – a total of FIVE brand new recipes for you to try out!
These have all been tried and tested many times to make sure they tick all the boxes and, of course, are totally DELICIOUS. Hopefully full tummies and smiling faces for another week are in the bag.
This week’s free weekly meal plan contains a lovely combination of some spring/summery dishes that are perfect for family dinners, make-ahead meals or leftovers lunches.
We’ve got FIVE easy recipes that are bringing all the flavours of fakeaways without the price tag or calorie count – from burritos to pasties, burgers to peri peri chicken and a simple pasta dish. Hope you love them all!
I’ll be sharing this meal plan on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, so watch out for the videos so you can cook along.
For reference, I shopped for this Meal Plan in June 2023 at Aldi and it cost £34.10.
Why use a weekly food planner?
⭐️ Knowing exactly what food to buy avoids food waste and saves you money.
⭐️ Having a plan for dinner avoids the mental load of “what’s for dinner?” question every night.

Some tips for using a family meal planner:
➡️ Check for any items on the shopping list that you already have in your cupboard.
➡️ Maybe think about doubling up and freezing a recipe or two where the recipes are suitable, so save cooking another day or for the weekend.
➡️ Remove ingredients for any meals that you don’t want to cook.
➡️ The shopping list includes the cheapest version of each ingredient. Obviously if you want to buy lower fat mince or free range etc, that’s personal choice.
➡️ All of the recipes are to serve 4, so if you’re cooking for 2, simply halve the ingredients.
