Mayfield’s Three Boys blend sees 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. Winemaking sees maturation in French oak hogsheads and puncheons (8% new) for 12 months prior to the final blend.

Medium garnet with a bright edge. Blueberry smoothie notes over black cherry, red fruit tea, pouch tobacco, strawberry tartlet and trimmed hedgerow. Agile and supple. Fruit forward and medium weight with very fine tannins and sharp cuts of regional acidity. That blueberry smoothie feels follows through the start before a crunchy and bright red fruit finish. Could even handle a slight chill for sunnier days.
