Lions vs Packers SGP Picks: Amon-Ra St Brown Receiving Yards
Amon-Ra St Brown has put up back-to-back 102-yard performances after catching 9/12 passes in Week 3 and 6/7 in Week 2. In Week 1 he was 6/9 for 71 yards and his lone score.
The Packers have been strong defending the pass ranking 10th in yards allowed per game. Looking at how the top receivers did versus the Pack in previous weeks we can see that no Bear exceeded 53 yards in Week 1. Good, but it’s the Bears. It was similar in Week 2 against the Falcons with Drake London being the top receiver with only 67 yards. But last week versus the Saints Chris Olave topped New Orleans’ receiving charts with 104 yards on right catches.
If we look back to last season St Brown has now topped 50 or more yards in 13 of his past 14 games. The one game where he didn’t, he had 49 yards. St Brown should be good for 50+ yards in your Lions vs Packers picks.
Lions vs Packers SGP Picks: Jahmyr Gibbs Rushing & Receiving Yards
The Packers rank 27th in rushing yards allowed per game. The 300 yards they’ve given up on the ground to running backs is 23rd. And the 149 receiving yards they’ve given up to running backs is 29th.
That could be a problem versus Lions’ rookie Jahmyr Gibbs who has 139 rushing and 59 yards receiving through three weeks.
With David Montgomery out last week Gibbs had 80 rushing and two receiving yards last week. Montgomery was questionable this week but is trending toward playing in the Lions vs Packers injury report.
Speaking of injuries, the Lions have cluster injuries on the offensive line with three players currently questionable. That’s certainly not good news for the offense, but it could mean if Jared Goff is under extra pressure he’s forced to dump the ball of more than usual for short throws to Gibbs. Gibbs could be in for a big night when it comes to the Lions vs Packers player props.

Lions vs Packers SGP Picks: Luke Musgrave Receiving Yards
Detroit may be ranked 11th in yards allowed per game, but they have been giving up plenty over the middle. They rank 32nd in yards allowed to tight ends. The 263 yards they’ve allowed is by far more than the next-highest, 189 allowed by the Giants. And it’s not like they just let a few big plays go off for chunk yardage. Teams are picking up on this weakness and the Lions have seen the most targets (36) and most catches (25) to opposing tight ends as well.
The Packers TE Luke Musgrave is third in team receiving yards catching 11/15 targets for 124 yards. He hasn’t scored a TD though yet, despite Jordan Love throwing for seven TDs on the season.
Musgrave saw his most targets and catches last week catching six of eight balls in his direction. Musgrave to total 25+ receiving yards rounds out our Lions vs Packers same game parlay picks.
