League Two returns with a bang this weekend and we have a full set of 12 fixtures to look forward to. We’ve put together an accumulator ahead of the action.
League Two Accumulator Tips:
- MK Dons to beat Doncaster with -1 handicap at 2/1
- AFC Wimbledon to beat Forest Green Rovers at 5/6
- Barrow vs Wrexham – Over 2.5 goals at 5/6
- Notts County to beat Tranmere at 8/15
- Mansfield vs Stockport – BTTS Yes at 4/5
Fivefold pays 27/1
MK Dons to beat Doncaster with -1 handicap
MK Dons having only recently come down from League One have managed to retain a whole load of star quality for this level. They’ve won three of their four matches so far, and with Mo Eisa they have a goalscorer who is above the level.
Meanwhile Doncaster have only got one point on the board and were handsomely beaten by Notts County at home last time out. Grant McCann is finding life tough back at Rovers, and it seems like they could be in for another tough 90 minutes.
AFC Wimbledon to beat Forest Green Rovers
Wimbledon have arguably been the surprise package of the season so far in League Two having won their last two games 2-0 and 3-0 respectively, after also holding Wrexham to a draw. Johnnie Jackson has done a sterling job so far this term and they will look to continue their winning run at home to a beleaguered FGR team.
The visitors have lost their last two home games, and been reduced to ten men in both, as their disastrous season last year spills over into the new season. They look like a really poor side at this moment in time, and I’m happy to back Wimbledon on this occasion.
Barrow vs Wrexham – Over 2.5 goals
It’s Wrexham. There’s going to be goals. So far they’ve scored 13 and conceded 13, with their last draw an absolute thriller as they came from 5-3 down in injury time to draw 5-5 with Swindon Town. We can expect more of the same against a decent Barrow who have tried to keep things tight this season. Wrexham don’t know how to do the same.
Notts County to beat Tranmere
County were hammered on the opening day, but since then, they’ve won two of their last three. Macaulay Langstaff found the net twice in their last win and they seem to have found their groove after a shaky start. As one of the pre-season favourites they should be competing at the top of the league this term, and they certainly have the quality in their squad to do so.
Meanwhile Tranmere have scored plenty of goals recently, but only have one win on the board having lost 4-3 at home to Salford last time out. They could be exposed defensively yet again.
Mansfield vs Stockport – BTTS Yes
Two excellent League Two sides meet at Field Mill and the easy option here is to pick both teams to score. Two excellent attacks should be able to find the net against each other this Saturday.
