Welcome to our patch notes breakdown for League of Legends Season 13!

Let’s break down all the new changes in LoL coming this week.

We recommend following along with the official 13.20 patch notes since we won’t be listing all the specific stat changes, but rather, focusing on the impact of the changes and the champions updated place in the current meta.

If you’re wondering how these changes will affect the meta, check out our LoL champion tier list!

Buffs, Nerfs and Adjustments

Akshan (nerf)

  • Q bonus movement speed now scales. So he gets less movement speed early on.
  • Akshan’s E damage is down, too.

Bel’Veth (nerf)

  • Bel’Veth’s Passive bonus attack speed is reduced early but better later on.
  • Her E damage reduction is reduced, and the minimum damage is also reduced. But, the minimum AD ratio has increased, as well as the on-hit damage.
  • For her Ultimate, it is weaker early but stronger later.

Jinx (buff)

  • Her base stats have been improved, and she now gains bonus attack speed upon getting takedowns.
  • Jinx’s Ultimate cooldown is also reduced at all ranks, and it will deal a bit more damage overall.

Kai’Sa (nerf)

  • Base stats nerf. She is still going to be really strong.

K’Sante (changed)

  • Base stats have changed.
  • Passive no longer increases his defensive stats.
  • Q damage is reduced, and the cooldown is changed.
  • For K’Sante’s W, there’s quite a lot, but to summarise, it now deals more damage, allows you to take less damage, and the cost is adjusted too.
  • His Ultimate looks complicated, but it is now AP instead of AD. It will also deal more damage as a whole.

Milio (buff)

  • His shield strength is increased, and the recharge time is better.
  • Breath of Life, which is his Ultimate- has better AP scaling too.

Morgana (buff)

  • Morgan’s W deals more damage and is better against monsters (maybe we will see Morgana Jungle making a return).
  • Her Black Shield cooldown is increased, especially in the early ranks.
  • For her Ultimate, it now deals more damage, and you’ll gain movement speed when it is active. The stun duration is increased, too!

Quinn (nerf)

  • Her base stats have changed. She has more damage but at the cost of less health.

Zed (nerf)

  • Zed’s W cooldown is increased, so expect him to be weaker in the mid and jungle roles.

Ziggs (buff)

  • Zigg’s Q hit box is increased. He will become a better Mid and ADC champion now!
