im not sure if im managing my money the best, but im still holding onto 7k more than when i left Houston, and was briefly 7k better off than i left Houston with at one time. But im running out of free room offers rapidly, (im being cut off for using far too many). i knew it wasnt possible to live out of casino hotels free of charge forever. 

Greg on twitter (who to my knowledge ive never met) suggested that the timeshare hotel i took for 4 nights for $550 might be legacy vacation village. but that place would have been quite a bit cheaper than what i paid. maybe $325 or less plus tax for the 4 nights. This is the slow season of the year for reno, just like it is for deadwood where i used to often go in the winter before they removed all the good video BJ machines. 

also legacy vacation village does have laundry facilities but i took the one and only place in reno with in room laundry facilities (meaning i dont have to leave my room to wash and dry clothes) this is why it cost more. also the freezer in the kitchen is full sized and i can store ice cream and frozen meals, and all the kitchenware and dishes is provided, kind of like an airbnb. nowhere in downtown reno is safe outdoors but its nice and safe inside and my room opens to an interior hallway far removed from the outside so its safe in here. but i paid $7 to go home 5-6 blocks or less because i didnt want to walk it at midnite. 

if anyone would ever want to visit reno and consider living out of a very nice place that often is sold out, check out worldmark hotel reno. 

i am wondering if my foot will get better on its own, the toe on the far side feels sore at times where the new toenail that grew in once the other one fell completely off probably isnt growing properly. and of course that is far from the only thing i should be asking a doctor at my age. especially using the bathroom every 45 minutes at the poker table and even far more often that this when im in my room without the inconvenience of having a long walk from the table. that and i usually have to always sit to be able to go. 

i wont have rooms much longer either, too much of my play has been poker, which of course is what i should be doing anyway. living out of hotels in casinos without paying for life has never been that feasible. 

i really enjoyed the break for a few days of having a nice place to stay, but of course no one can really afford 3-4k a month for a place to live long term though inflation is coming to that in the largest major cities. i miss the good old days of an apt in a nice crime free area under $600 a month. that really wasnt too long ago. not more than 10 years ago 

id say more so this blog wouldnt be too short but i dont know what else to discuss that wont get me in trouble and piss alot of people off so ill go ahead and close. i will say there were several days between the first and the last paragraph and i had to change the amount i was up in reno from 5k to 7k so im doing good still. been lucky the last few times ive played live BJ.
