Kempton Park Tips: Green Power can surge to Success

Kempton Park Tips: Green Power can surge to Success

  • By Admin

Kempton returns for its usual Wednesday evening slot with a bumper nine-race card.

It promises to be an entertaining night of action – and here’s a few tips for the occasion.

Kempton Park Tips

  • 16:20 – Song Of Success @ 11/2
  • 18:00 – Green Power @ 7/2
  • 19:30 – From Beyond @ 10/1

16:20 – Song Of Success @ 11/2

Song Of Success scored at Wolverhampton last time out and the three-year-old looks good value to make it back-to-back victories in the Racing TV Apprentice Handicap over six furlongs at 16:20.

The Wolverhampton victory came over seven furlongs, but that is a sharp track and James Fanshawe’s charge showed enough speed to win over six at Windsor as a two-year-old.

Song Of Success always looked in control when scoring 25 days ago and there is a strong feeling that she can prove better than her current rating of 72. Stall six looks an ideal draw and the daughter of Havana Gold looks ready to strike.

18:00 – Green Power @ 7/2

Green Power surged clear to win emphatically over course and distance 14 days ago and John Gallagher’s charge can score in the first division of the mile handicap at 18:00.

The eight-year-old had dropped to a career-low mark when powering clear to win comfortably last time out and that took Green Power’s form figures at Kempton to 1361.

The eight-year-old is up six pounds this evening, but that’s still below the mark that the son of Kheleyf scored off at this track two years ago and Gallagher has handily placed him in 0-65 company. Stall eight is fine and Green Power can boss a bunch of exposed rivals.

19:30 – From Beyond @ 10/1

From Beyond got a rough trip at Wolverhampton last time out but the three-year-old shaped with plenty of promise and there could be more to come in the seven furlong handicap at 19:30.

Harry and Roger Charlton’s charge was trapped four wide for most of the race last time out, but she kept on fairly well and was beaten only three-and-three-quarter-lengths at the line.

That was just From Beyond’s third start in handicaps, and after a wind op, she can improve under James Doyle this evening.
