Tristana Wild Rift Abilities
Here’s a basic breakdown of all of Tristana’s abilities in Wild Rift. Before we get into it, we want to clarify that all the descriptions and the videos are sourced from the Offical Tristana Wild Rift Page.
Passive: Draw a Bead Increases Tristana’s range for her attacks, Explosive Charge, and Buster Shot as she levels.
Ability 1: Rapid Fire Tristana increases her Attack Speed for a short time.
Ability 2: Rocket Jump Tristana fires at the ground to propel her to a distant location, dealing damage and slowing surrounding units for a brief period where she lands. Takedowns and fully stacked Explosive Charge detonations on champions reset Rocket Jump’s cooldown.
Ability 3: Explosive Charge When Tristana kills a unit, her cannonballs burst into shrapnel, dealing damage to surrounding enemies. Can be activated to place a bomb on a target enemy or turret that explodes after a short duration dealing damage to surrounding units.
Ultimate Ability: Buster Shot Tristana loads a massive cannonball into her weapon and fires it at an enemy unit. This deals Magic Damage and knocks the target back.
Tristana Wild Rift Runes
Before the game starts, you need to pick the correct runes in order to increase your chances of winning the game.
Tristana Skill Order
Here’s the skill order for Tristana. Note that this will be her ADC skill order.
Tristana Wild Rift Build
This is one of the best builds for Tristana in Wild Rift. It is important to note that you should stay up to date with what the high-ranking players build in Wild Rift to increase your chances of winning as this guide, including the Runes, may change from patch to patch.
Tristana Wild Rift Counters
If you’re looking for tips and tricks on countering Tristana in Wild Rift, this section will break down good counters to help you beat her.
Draven
Draven is a dominant ADC in Wild Rift and League of Legends. He is a good champion versus Tristana because his all-in is very strong. He can also counter her all-in and turn exchanges around. In the very early game, he out-trades her, too.
Lucian
Lucian is a lane-dominant ADC and is usually paired with another strong Support. The two of them will work wonders on Tristana as the Support will buff him up and empower him: making his damage output even higher and it harder for her to survive an all-in.
Braum
Braum can be paired with either of the two ADCs we’ve suggested, but in general, he is a good counter versus Tristana due to him blocking her incoming damage with his shield. As Tristana will usually jump on targets with, he can counter her and turn around exchanges by applying his Passive.
Best Matchups for Tristana in Wild Rift
So you’ve learned who’s good against Tristana. Now it’s time to discuss who Tristana is really good against.
Ezreal
When we talk about early-game champions, Ezreal is far from one of them. While he does have poke, he cannot match Tristana’s early-game damage. Picking Tristana versus Ezreal is a good idea, as you’ll win fights and quickly snowball in this matchup.
Vayne
Vayne isn’t the most vigorous champion in the early game. Her strength comes in the later parts of the game. Tristana’s early game can be pretty intense, so if you pick Tristana into a Vayne, you should have a good chance of beating her in the lane.
Caitlyn
The final champion on the list is Caitlyn. Caitlyn struggles against all-ins, and as Tristana can close the gap and all-in her, picking Tristana is a good idea for the most part. The only disadvantage is that Caitlyn has good poke and range.
Final Thoughts
Tristana is one of the best ADCs in Wild Rift right now, and her dominant laning phase allows her to get kills and snowball. We hope this basic Tristana Wild Rift guide will give you the beginner’s knowledge to help you get started to play her in Wild Rift.
