• Date’s don’t have to be in the evenings or on weekends! You can have a coffee date, or meet for lunch on your lunch-break. Work the dates around your schedule.
• If you’re kids are old enough, talk to them about your dating plans and explain why it’s important to you.
• Don’t feel guilty about saying no to things that will take up your time and prevent you from going on dates.
• Talk to the person you’re dating about how you can make time for each other in the midst of parenting responsibilities – as a single parent themselves, they’re more likely to understand.
• Ask friend, family or a sitter to help with childcare so you can have some uninterrupted time with the person you’re dating.
