How to Make Time for Dating as a Single Parent

  • By Admin
As a single parent, it can be tough to find time for dating. Between work, childcare, and other commitments, there’s not always a lot of wiggle room in your schedule. But don’t give up hope – there are plenty of ways to fit dating into your busy life.

Here are 5 tips that will help you make time for dating – you deserve it!

Remember, all of our Playdate users get a discount on childcare with Bubble. So with childcare sorted, you can go on that date.

  • Date’s don’t have to be in the evenings or on weekends! You can have a coffee date, or meet for lunch on your lunch-break. Work the dates around your schedule.
  • If you’re kids are old enough, talk to them about your dating plans and explain why it’s important to you.
  • Don’t feel guilty about saying no to things that will take up your time and prevent you from going on dates.
  • Talk to the person you’re dating about how you can make time for each other in the midst of parenting responsibilities – as a single parent themselves, they’re more likely to understand.
  • Ask friend, family or a sitter to help with childcare so you can have some uninterrupted time with the person you’re dating.
