Let me tell you, the texture of this ice cream makes it SO easy to scoop, and it can literally be made in less than 10 minutes (before freezing time, that is). How to Make Ice Cream Without an Ice Cream Maker
It’s SO easy to make this DIY Ice Cream without an ice cream maker! All you need is literally two ingredients, plus any mix-ins you decide on.
2 Ingredient Ice Cream Ingredients
- Heavy Whipping Cream (cold)
- Sweetened Condensed Milk
Instructions for How to Make Ice Cream Without an Ice Cream Maker
In a large mixing bowl, whip heavy cream with a hand mixer set to high until stiff peaks form.
Drizzle in condensed milk and gently fold in to the whipped cream using a spatula. Make sure it is completely folded in and don’t use a mixing motion or that will deflate the whipped cream.
Add in 1/2 – 1 cup of mix-ins and fold gently into the cream mixture. I used Oreos, but you could use whatever your family likes best.
Gently scoop ice cream into a 9×5 loaf pan. Smooth the surface with a spatula and freeze for 6 hours or overnight. Whenever you remove it from the freezer, you don’t have to wait for it to thaw in order to scoop it at all! Due to the lightly whipped texture, it is SO easy to scoop! The flavor is SO delicious, too!! I would have never guessed that two ingredients could make such incredibly decadent vanilla ice cream. What flavor mix-ins are your favorites?
