Hospital Universitari Mutua Terrassa in Spain has partnered with therapeutic drug monitoring software provider PrecisePK for Bayesian model-informed precision dosing.
PrecisePK claims that by implementing its software, Hospital Universitari Mutua Terrassa has seen significant improvements in their dosing practices.
The technology firm further claims that its software features a user-friendly interface and helps professionals in the healthcare sector to make informed decisions depending on patient-specific factors.
Commenting on the alliance, Hospital Universitari Mutua Terrassa TDM pharmacist Genís Castells said: “PrecisePK has not only helped decentralise our clinical pharmacokinetics services, but also improved our clinical decisions and workflow efficiency at the patient bedside.
“It has allowed us to expand our portfolio of pharmacokinetic services, positioning us as a reference pharmacy service in Spain.”
This collaboration marks a significant milestone as PrecisePK’s first customer in Spain and establishes them as a preferred provider of therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) solutions, particularly for vancomycin AUC dosing.
It reflects Spain’s commitment to precision medicine.
