Hirsch Selected Whiskeys and brand owner, Hotaling & Co., have introduced a new addition to their single barrel offerings: The Single Barrel White, a Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey.
Aged for four years and eight months in new American oak barrels in Bardstown, KY, The Single Barrel White is comprised of 74% corn, 18% rye and 8% malted barley.
Flavor profiles vary from barrel to barrel. However, the general tasting notes of The Single Barrel White are grain, honey and a hint of vanilla on the nose, and corn, peanut, spice and a kick of oak on the palate, according to the company.
“While steeped in history, Hirsch Selected Whiskeys are created with the modern drinker in mind: those curious about whiskey and passionate about exploring whiskies they can share with friends,” says Kevin Aslan, head blender. “Each expression of The Single Barrel White offers a unique opportunity to discover new flavors in the glass.”
Botted at cask strength, The Single Barrel White is available for the suggested retail price of $49.99 per 750-ml. bottle.
The Single Barrel White is available now in the following states: CA, CO, DC, GA, IN, KY, LA, MA, MD, NC, OR, TN and TX.
