Hinckley & Rugby BS hires Sneddon as head of mortgage sales

  • By Admin

Hinckley & Rugby Building Society has hired Laura Sneddon as head of mortgage sales.

The mutual says one of Sneddon’s tasks is to seek out opportunities and talk to new broker partners, in markets where the society is not well-known.

It will also continue to focus on specialist and flexible mortgages, such as its Income Flex home loans, which have no minimum income requirement, and their 5.5 times income multiples consider cash from multiple sources.

Sneddon says: “I’m in a position to influence product development and decision-making for the direct benefit of brokers and their clients.

“We are actively looking at specific demographics, to pinpoint where the society’s flexible approach can deliver positive outcomes for deserving clients whom many lenders discriminate against.”

Sneddon, who has more than 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry, last post was at Fiducia Commercial Solutions where she worked as a commercial network manager.

Previously, she worked at Masthaven Bank for just over three-and-a-half years, leaving as national account manager in April last year.

Prior to that, she worked at The Mortgage Lender, again for just over three-and-a-half years, leaving as national account manager in 2019.
