With cable and satellite TV prices continuing to rise, it’s not uncommon to spend $150 per month or more on your cable or satellite subscription. Because of the expense and due to the growing list of affordable video streaming services like Netflix and Amazon Prime, more and more people are cutting their cable and choosing to customize their TV viewing.
FuboTV is one of many streaming services vying for your dollar. But what types of programming does Fubo offer, and how much does it cost? Check out this FuboTV review to determine if Fubo is a good alternative to your cable or satellite TV subscription.

What Is FuboTV?
FuboTV is a streaming service that’s been around since 2015. It was launched with a heavy focus on sports (specifically soccer) but eventually morphed into an all-encompassing streaming service that provides hefty competition for YouTube TV and other similar services.
However, it still has a targeted focus on sports, so much so that it was dubbed the “best streaming service for sports lovers” by Reader’s Digest in 2023.
You’ll find sports leagues from around the globe in your FuboTV lineup, as well as a wide array of other channels. But FuboTV has many other features to choose from, which we’ll highlight next.

Is FuboTV Worth It?
FuboTV offers a wide range of channels, add-ons, and sports events. The sports event selection FuboTV offers is especially attractive.
Prices for FuboTV packages are similar to what YouTube TV charges and a bit higher than what Sling charges. However, you may find the higher cost well worth it, especially if you’re a sports fan.
FuboTV add-ons span nearly all genres and include the Adventure Plus plan, which features the Outdoor Channel, the Sportsman Channel, and the Outside and World Fishing Networks.
The bottom line? There’s a lot to love about FuboTV if you’re okay with the monthly package prices.
