It’s a quiet Monday on the football front, but there’s an interesting tie in the Danish First Division between Naestved and Koge.

Naestved have taken just a single point from their opening seven league matches, but they have been far more competitive than that record suggests.

Koge have been on an awful run of form that has seen them lose four straight games and they could struggle to arrest that slide in an entertaining clash at Tintshop Park.

Naestved are stuck at the bottom of the table after collecting only one point from their opening seven Danish First Division matches, but they have been unlucky at times this campaign.

The Green played pretty well in a 1-0 Tintshop Park defeat to Boldklubben in their latest home outing and deserved at least a point from that contest.

Boldklubben hammered Koge 7-1 last month and that was part of an awful run for the Swans.

Nicklas Pedersen’s men lost 2-0 to Hobro and that was followed by a 4-0 crushing at Sonderjyske.

Naestved sit six points adrift of Koge in the league table but the home side can cut that gap on Monday night.

There have also been nine goals in Naestved’s three home league matches this season and the goals look set to flow at TintShop Park.

The home side will know that this is a golden opportunity to collect three points and they should push forward in search of a much-needed victory.

Koge have conceded 15 goals in their last four matches and it’s hard to see how this game doesn’t break the 2.5 goal mark.
