KF Ballkani and Ludogorets Razgrad will do battle on Tuesday when they meet in the first leg of their Champions League first-round qualifier, which kicks off at 19:45 at the Fadil Vokrri Stadium.

Ballkani are aiming to reach the Champions League group stage for the first time, while Ludogorets are bidding to return to the main draw for the first time since the 2016/17 campaign.

Ballkani made history last season when they became the first side from Kosovo to reach the group stage of a UEFA club competition, as they competed in the Europa Conference League after losing in the first round of qualifying for the Champions League.

Life has been tougher for Ludogorets on their European travels and they have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last 10 away Europa League matches, while there has been just one shutout recorded from their last five away Champions League outings.

While Ludogorets should have more than enough quality to pick up the win on Tuesday, their defensive frailties should give Ballkani hope that they can at least get on the scoresheet.

The Gabriels did manage to net eight times in the Europa Conference League last season, the second-highest amount in their group, while they have only been blanked once in their last 10 competitive assignments.

Both teams to score has landed in six of Ballkani’s last nine competitive games, while this same bet has been successful in five of Ludogorets’ last eight outings.
