Western Conference leaders St Louis City welcome in-form Real Salt Lake to CityPark in a fixture that appeals to me for goals and cards.
St Louis are the third-highest scorers in MLS this term, scoring 34 goals, with 23 of those coming in front of their supporters. Bradley Carnell’s hosts have struck in 8/9 (89%) of their MLS fixtures as hosts – scoring on multiple occasions in six (67%) of them – and should be more than capable of breaching a Salt Lake defence that has registered a solitary clean sheet on their travels, conceding 14 goals.
Pablo Mastroeni’s visitors have scored 20 goals in MLS this campaign, with 11 of those coming on their travels. The Claret and Cobalt have found the back of the net in 6/9 (67%) of their road trips – striking two or more in three of their last four – and will look to trouble a St Louis defence that has registered only four clean sheets in MLS this season.

Over 2.5 Goals has banked in 12/17 (71%) of St Louis’ MLS fixtures this season, including in 7/9 (78%) at home – and given the same has landed in 12/18 (67%) of Real Salt Lake’s MLS contests this term – I’m happy to have a punt on there to be a minimum of three strikes in Missouri.
