After the drama of Royal Ascot, the UK racing schedule returns to a sense of normality on Sunday, and there are only three meetings on the agenda, including Ffos Las’ seven-race meeting.
The going is good to firm-good in places for Sunday’s card, and we have picked out three tips for readers, with two of them looking to make it back-to-back wins.

14:30 – Notre Maison @ 1/1
After 15 races without a win, the penny seemed to have dropped for NOTRE MAISON last time out, with Stuart Kittow’s runner winning at Brighton on good to firm ground.
The four-year-old had only ever finished second twice before that, but Kittow’s recent training tactics have clearly done the trick.
Notably, Notre Maison beat both Master Sully and Mr Pc on that occasion, who both line up in Sunday’s race, and it is hard to look past Kittow’s charge this time around.
15:35 – Denis Anthony @ 1/1
DENIS ANTHONY has yet to shed his maiden tag after seven attempts, but James Fanshawe’s charge has been unlucky of late.
The son of Australia has shown signs of consistency this season, recording three top-four finishes in his last four runs. He has finished second in back-to-back contests at both Lingfield and Yarmouth, bumping into two good horses in the process.
Connections could be rewarded on Sunday, however, with the three-year-old set to dominate.
Royal Dream, Solution and Sexy Rexy are the three other three-year-olds in the race, but Denis Anthony has done enough of late to suggest a win is imminent.
16:05 – Merlin The Wizard @ 6/4
MERLIN THE WIZARD‘s 156-day break seems to have worked a treat so far, with Harry & Roger Charlton’s runner finishing fifth at Newmarket and first at Kempton in the last two months.
The three-year-old beat Botanical by a neck earlier this month in that race at Kempton, and the handicapper has handed him a workable mark of 83.
He showed a sharp turn of foot at Kempton to win last time, and that quick burst should be enough to hand him the victory this weekend.
Tollard Royal (5/2) is the main danger in the market after a recent wind operation, but it may take him some time to return to peak race fitness.
